I have a question regarding Jury Duty.. I have read the Jury Duty instruction sheet and it says that during Jury Duty that my RDO will be Sunday and Saturday and tour will be changed to AM tour for the duration of Jury Duty service. I was chosen to be a Juror for once a week for 16 weeks. Does this means that I will have Sunday and Saturday RDO with AM tour throughout the duration of Jury Duty services? or will my RDO change to it's original RDO because I only serve once a week? I called the crew office for my assignment as XX and they reassigned me back to my originals RDO instead of the Sunday/Saturday that was said under the Jury Duty instruction sheet.

Yes they are Temp Job. I made a list of jobs that either ends in Northbound terminals or leaves early since I live in NJ and take public transportation home. Got tired of getting home between 3am-5am during PM jobs as XX.

I have a question.. If you are XX and you bid on a job.. and a week or a month later, the person returns. Do you fall back to the bottom of XX? Meaning that within XX if a new employee is recently out of school car and you have more seniority but because you bid on a job and the person returns.. that new employee will have more seniority within XX (Since I heard there's also seniority within XX). For example I have Sunday/Monday off. If I filled out a preference sheet with PMs and also bid on a job and win. And the person ends up returning, will the crew office honor the preference sheet I filled out before, or do I have to fill out another preference sheet, or will the crew office throw me in which ever “Tour” and “RDO” they feel like giving?

After posting, I noticed that I am going to be needing some hearing protection. I tried the ear plug that was given out at schoolcar and it wasn’t that great. does anyone recommend any specific Safety Earmuffs that is sold at Amazon?

Hello I have a question.. is there anything wrong about having pick up location # 25 (59th street, Columbus Circle)? I live in Jersey and thought it would be easier since I normally pass by TimeSquare. Is it a 24hr location?

Hello, I am trying to buy things that I would need for the 1st week of class. I already ordered the work boots and the kaka travel bag. I was thinking of buying two pair of pants and shirt. Which do you guys recommend? Also what color is the pants? Black, navy or dark navy blue?

What was asked at the OPA? Also what is the dress code?
