  1. Yo, 4080-89 got transferred to Pitkin yesterday. Just a heads up.
  2. Cool. Happy it passed 10 days without a problem
  3. Well, idk why you tryin to argue with Kamen Rider and putting false info on him/her. Just because I agreed with a statement doesn't mean you get to go all out on me. 'Especially not being employed by the TA.' Then what are you? Employed? Last time I checked, that quote backfired to you. Don't make me argue for the next 2 pages or so. and DAMN...45...This is why I don't LIVE in NYC.
  4. Yeah. I'm kinda that same way. I'm not saying I want to know everything, but at least I know a lil bit...
  5. Okay. Thanks for sharing. I didn't know this bout the ntts.
  6. The MTA almost never gets things on time in my personal op, but hopefully it comes. And the first sentence makes sense. Nothing big is going on rn, so that's probably why n one was saying anything. Actually, I'm trying to go to Coney today or tm, but...
  7. Why hasn't anyone been replying for 3 days? What is going on? Is this thread dead or somethin? I think today is the 8th day of the R211A 30-day acceptance testing. So, yay. Time goes by 2 fast for me.
  8. Maybe his patience is done for and he's waitin for these new buses to come out. I agree with this though, cuz that's what life is. You gotta wait for new things. Most importantly, you gotta wait for the future. What are the fleet #s for these new buses anyway? Did NICE say any numbers yet or is it still TBD?
  9. Great news. I saw some videos today, planning on watching more fsr, I think they're cool. I'm glad it's back in service, but somebody said that it got taken back OUT of service later on yesterday because of door malfunctions. Is this true?
  10. Literally what I would say but then everyone starts complaining at me:
  11. R10: Start R68/A: Finish. This is what it reminds me of since the R10 is the first SMEE rolling stock and the R68/As are the last.
  12. Kids...Elementary-Middle School kids...they [most of them, sorry if you guys are about this age] still believe that the R179s are lemons. They've improved in service for the past 5 years or so, and I'm pretty sure it's the most, if not one of the most reliable fleets in the system. The R142s on the other hand, they are reliable, too, but that's a different story to save for another topic. Back on track.
  13. Oh. Well, thanks for the clarification.
  14. Oh, now that sounds like a good reason tbh. I mean, they did this a lot though, right? Like this: Could have been. And I didn't expect this to show up either. I didn't think that the MTA would do an IRT ser with a BMT/IND set. The only time I've really seen that was an 142/46 set bc those cars were wrecked in 2020. ALL of them in the set. But that was a couple months ago.
  15. Why would there be a R211S/R211T mixed consist? That just sounds stupid to put a f*kin SIR train with a NYCT 5 car set. Maybe they must've did it for a reason. I mean, the R211T set was the one that got vandalized 2 weeks ago since someone said 'soft shell'
  16. WTF!!! Why SI? Did it not for SIR? It literally looks like the F express but for Staten Island! I'm done!
  17. Now since you said that, I feel like they should stay in the lines they are on now. The A, C, N, Q, W, and RP shuttle. Maybe the MTA could do that with any rolling stock that is about to retire soon. Just let that rolling stock stay on the lines that it is on right now so they won't tear down faster. I mean, obviously, the MTA doesn't think far enough, so it won't do that. They would move some 46s to Non-CBTC lines (like the B, D, possibly the FA shuttle), but we'll see what goes on.
  18. That's what I'm saying. Why give it to only 1 company if you can put Alstom or another company that isn't Bombardier into play?
  19. Makes sense. I think they would start retiring when about 10-12 10 car sets are here. We aren't even close to there yet, so let's just figure out when it's gonna come back, like [literally almost, or about half of] everyone said, be patient, and whenever we get news, we show it here. I would be surprised if an R46 set retires this early, even though it shouldn't. Same here, It's [I'm not so sure about this coming statement, so don't start coming at me. Remember, I live near PHILLY, not near or in NYC] kind of like the R160 orders, but with only 1 rail company making ALL THESE CARS. We don't know when it's gonna be approved or if it is.
  20. I'm pretty sure it has to be the pilot if I'm not misktaken
