Where was the email from? I’m just asking I did my OPA may 19 and still haven’t heard anything

Has anyone that took the OPA May 19th been called yet?

I’m in the low 95xx and have not heard anything from them. I took the Conductor exam and I’m in the 11xxx, I took my OPA In May.

What number should I look out for? What email? That’s what I was asking for. Last time they sent me a letter for my OPA. I just don’t want to miss a call. Thank you

Woooo!!! Congrats!! I did my OPA may 19th so hopefully we get called next. Any chance how did they notify you? Email, phone number? These days the phones don’t ring because of scammers so I just want to be on the look out. 😬

I mean someone took the OPA a month before I did and they just got called few weeks ago

I agree! I did my OPA in May. They took my 25 bucks which isn’t anything but still, why have ppl do all this and they know we won’t get called. It’s just wild, the list is probably going to expire soon because they have the new test coming out.

Nope not at all, back in May they said someone will reach out. That was it.

I agree, we took the OPA the same day. I sat all the way in the back glad I was able to hear everything well. They never got back to me, I know the gentleman and the lady both said give it three months to hear from them. Hopefully September we hear from them.

Just speaking, since people do leave they should start hiring more. I’m at a job that I make more than what the MTA pays but it’s all about opportunities. Once you’re in, you have in house applications plus city job. I am totally sure it’s more than just opening and closing doors. You have to make reports if something happens along your route which chances are things are always happening on the MTA. To start at 24hr compare to some ppl making 30+ it’s a big risk. My list number is 11*** I took my OPA in may 19. I’ll see what happens, if not I’ll go for train operator.

The OPA wasn’t free, everyone needed a money order.

Awesome! I hope they sent a letter for pre-employment. Phone calls sometimes with these scam calls might not even go thru.
