  1. Ive ridden SIR trains recently. There are no side signs. the front scroll signs on their R44's have the destination on them where NYCT's route signs are. N/B's have St. George, St. George Express or Ballpark and S/B's have Tottenville, Tottenville Express or Great Kills. At St. George, at each entrance to the platforms are signs that display the departing trains destination and operation(express or local). since the N/B end of the train will have St. George displayed. With its limited service patters the need for a side sign is not really nessesary.

    South Bound also displays Hugenot:D

  2. Sweet railroad set! I noticed that you even have another fleet of cars under the elevated R36. Also, I noticed that (1) poster about getting in the first 5 cars in South Ferry to get off the train in the background. Where did you get it?

Thanks.. 'Subway' Set;). Yeah, under the El is my 6 Car R42 (D) Train layup. I redesigned the layout back in November, so that layup track is now Part of my new Brooklyn PCC Streetcar Line. Where did I get the (1) poster? It was gift:D.

  3. I have Trainz 2004?, I used the standard 'North American' layout, and edited alot of it to create the Brighton Line 4 Track ROW. However, every time , I try and use my trainz sim game, the 'caching' takes forever, and by the time I actually get trains rolling on the lines ( 12 trains ) im about 35 minutes into the game already. Should i delete this series, and download a new one? I would love to operate the trains within the game, but its soo slowww.. Any help would be appreciated:D..

By the Way, I need to have these subway cars pictured in the previous posts. No Questions asked, lol. Outstanding Job!

  4. SIR used to have Several Names. Until the mid to late 80s, it was known as:

SIRTOA- Staten Island Rapid Transit Operating Authority

    then changed to:

    SIRT- Staten Island Rapid Transit

    Now:

    SIR- (MTA) Staten Island Railway

I always thought the letter "I" would fit the SIR, or just a Blue (S). SIR is a Heavy Rail Passenger Train running on a FREIGHT Line. Its not a subway, nor will it ever be, even though its running R44s, its a Railway.

-PATH is a Commuter Line, right?
