Lemme guess that bus came from LGA? I'll bet that bus is gonna be relabeled back to NYCT along with 8941-8943. But that's wishful thinking. That depot now has 8866, 8941-8943 and 8948 along with the other Novas from Ulmer Park 4934, 4937 and 4938

IIRC, the orion V's are still there. They never left the depot to begin with

4568 and 4596 both have been repainted the new way

Also add 4105 and 4548 on to the list of repaints in the new scheme

Off topic: Is Zerega Depot or ever thinking about retiring 1986 GMC RTS-06 #4396 Mobile Command Center bus.. 1986 GMC RTS-06 still exist on Zerega Avenue Depot.. At least what bus will replace 1986 GMC RTS-06 #4396.. Is Zerega Avenue Depot will receive 3 new bus for Mobile Command Center ?... At least Zerega Avenue depot can get 3 new buses to replace 1993 Orion5 #191 & 1986 GMC RTS-06 #4396. First time Zerega Avenue Depot get new buses

I hope... By now East New York Depot can start now or prepared to scrapped 1996 RTS Nova Bus as New Flyer XD being delivered .. Why the delay scrapping 1996 RTS Nova Bus....

None of those buses are getting scrapped anytime soon. They are set to retire in 2015 if anything

Looks like RTS may be making it's way back to the Bronx, 4969 is sitting at the yard and also have notice around the depot for RTS training. Keep a look out in the next couple of months. PS it's about 10 of them in the yard I believe.

It's there for driver training nothing more nothing less

Mark my words, when all is said and done, I'll bet that the new buses will make their debuts everywhere else, except FP and GRand. By the end of next year, those two depots will round out the depots with the aging/retiring fleet.

Don't be so sure my friend. You forgot that also ENY, FLA and MJQ also have RTS so FP and GA won't be the only ones with RTS once the XD40s start coming in

That MCI in ENY is a mobile crew room for drivers and the area dispatcher. Its almost always in Canarsie or at Woodhull Hospital. Thanks for the info guys

 

Besides, MCIs always go to ENY for work, along with everything else

8852 is now at Grand Avenue. I saw it on the B60 yesterday

9464 was scrapped six years ago after a Bed-Stuy bound B15 bus collided with a Fire Truck right outside where I used to live. The B15 was still at GA at that time.

Until it went back to ENY in 2009

Yeah same exact thing I heard, 4922 was out on the 1 today and 9685 was on the 36. But there's some kind of emergency shuttle going on. It has the G shuttle papers in the windows and UP drivers are using them but I'm hearing it's only for a week. They don't have enough buses to cover the shuttle runs so they're borrowing others.
