What is it with ENY losing their RTS? It doesn't make any sense. Their XD40 order is complete and their NovaBus LFS order is about to be complete so if anyone can help me, please break it down for me so I can understand

So just to get this straight, ENY's batch is going to Jamaica, Jamaica's first batch is going to Charleston, and the rest are staying the same (so far)?

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. Until this really happens and if any one sees 8090-8119 on these routes,enough with the predictions

9621 to ENY from QV. Doubt it would hit service.

Funny thing about it 8107 broke down on the B14 this evening

4829 and 4830 have not been repainted as those units still have the same paint scheme they were delivered in

My guess that is just a summer loan. Brooklyn depots like FB tends to lend a few of their buses to other depots because they don't need as many with school out for the summer.

And if not mentioned already: 5171 was on the B44 yesterday. It spent some time (few months) at ENY when FB was getting the xd40s. I dunno if it means eny is pushing out RTSs for the nova lfs and if 5171 is coming back to stay at FB (instead of a summer loan). I would think ENY should be pushing out some of their old gen hybrids so those hybrids can be sent elsewhere to help retire some of the remaining O5s as well as to balance out the fleet age at ENY.

I totally agree with you. The Novas that are coming in are pushing out the RTS ENY received from FB a few months ago.

This is not fair at all LGA is strugglling real bad with a shortage, yet MJQ gets loaners from other depots at the snap of a finger. smh.

You should be happy that LGA is getting new buses. In the meantime keep a smile on your face and be happy

Take 4826 off the list as that bus has not been repainted. Its still in the same paint scheme when it was delivered

How about no. The other buses that went to MTA Bus 5175-5199 could be coming back to NYCT soon. BTW isn't Eastchester and LaGuardia expected to get XD40s soon?

9384 is a 1997 Nova and it's interesting that 5172-5174 is at FP. Loaners I'm guessing

4823 is not repainted. It still has the same paint scheme when it was delivered. I saw it on the B14 Friday

Which makes 8904 the last 96 Nova at the depot. They've had a good run there. End of an era. Guess it's the passing of the torch
