Wow, I called up as well and realised it says it indeed has been established on 9/13/2012. I really thought this would have been established in the spring time from info that I was given, but better late than never right? Hopefully the first few hundred of us should be getting a nice surprise of a letter in the mail within the next few months..

Are there any TSS or other people on the inside who would be able to tell us the last appointed promo list # on this exam? When was the last school car class and future ones? Thanks!

Are you sure that all of those jobs reported your income to the dept of labor? One of those jobs may not even be considered work experience by the DCAS definitions.

Which forum did you see this on? I think it is just another rumor that doesnt hold any weight as 8098 is not even certified yet the last time I checked. It sure is possible that 8098 will be certified in a few months, but I doubt the next few school car classes will have people from 8098 in it. But hey, I could be wrong and that would be a good thing

I don't know about that.. they are more than half way through the promo list already. atleast it is a sign that the wheels are in motion down at DCAS and progress is in the works.

Wow I guess they are really close to the 8098 list. I just got a letter from DCAS saying congratulations you have been found qualified in the education and experience test for train operator 8098. Anyone else get any letters yet?
