... do you honestly read what you write before you post it? Because that is TERRIBLE.
not only would it not fit, it would have to be an at grade junction.
not to mention removing the convenience of the south entrance directly from the mall into the station.

I wonder if those tail tracks south of Whitehall St could possibly be extended. They’re pointed directly at Governors Island, so I’d have the stop there, then head into Red Hook under either Van Brunt St or Richards St with 1 or 2 stops before shooting straight to Saint George taking over the SIR.
There are no tail tracks south of Whitehall street. There are bellmouths, but that's all they are, just those short openings in the tunnel walls.

Um... I am 100% sure that new 2 tunnel is not going to work. 145th is too close to the water ether way you slice it unless the line takes a long swing west and loops under itself.

It was a typo.

I think the Ferry kicking people off is a coast guard rule, but the point stands

YOUR belief at the time, no one else’s. And you need to learn to make that distinction...
Just because YOU think something, DOES NOT make it fact.

Probably in October.

I'm guessing we could hound him on this till the cows come home and he won't have an answer for it...

We do kinda have a thread for these already,
So if you could, in the future, use that, that would be awesome.

And they’re on. How did I miss that on the list...

The Jamaica Line is now a solid block from Myrtle Ave to Cypress Hills, and... officially speaking the Z only needs two more stations, 121st and 75th.
This is the upside of most elevated stations. When you break it down, on average, they don't have as many turnstiles as subway stations.

I was being very specific on the homeless situation that started the fire as noted (which was in the overnight in case anyone forgot) and everything else with the homeless that eventually led to the subways being shut down in the overnights.
do you have any concrete evidence that the person who started the fire was homeless? Because this seems like another of your massive leaps of logic, which is why we started talking about baseball in the first place, it's one of your funnier ones.

Ok, I just though that for many New Yorkers the 24/7 subway service was very important and that this situation was an injustice. But if there are these reactions and even insults, I'll stop writing about this.
The thing you were doing much like Mr. Wallyhorse, you were repeating yourself over and over, with information that we all already knew.
Yes, a lot of us agree that continuing the overnight closure is BS. Yes, some of us even think someone should go to jail for it... But it is not the thing we constantly talk about. How many times in this thread alone did you ask us when full time service would return? It is literally the only thing you've posted about in MONTHS. Yeah, a lot of my posts are in the OMNY thread, but at least that's new information. I've checked, the vast majority of your posts have been harping on any sort of shutdown as being evil. 8 years ago you had a conniption over FASTRACK.
You are coming off as overly obsessive on the concept. If I'm reading this correctly, you don't live here, it's not a direct effect on your life when the subway runs or it doesn't run, so do us all a favor and CALM DOWN.

Yeah... sure, it had to be baseball that lead to Mario Cuomo loosing... it can’t have been the massive resurgence of the Republican Party in 1994 that saw them gain 54 house seats, 8 senate seats and 12 governors.
see, this is what you do, Wally, you lock on and laser focus on one, tiny, irrelevant issue and make Mount Everest out of an ant hill.
1994 was the Republican Revolution. A large shift in this country’s political landscape on the backs of dissatisfaction with Clinton’s large scale politics.
a few seniors cranky about no baseball, or a national shift to conservative politics?
unless you can find me over 100,000 people who said that’s why they voted for Pataki, I’m sticking with the latter.

And the with that...
