Well the MTA is going to give those R44s an SMS, so as to keep them reliable until the R211s arrive around the end of this decade.

And wasn't most of the order going to be in 5 car sets before that was chaned?

Yeah I believe so. The original order called for 50 five car trainsets and 10 four car trainsets. There was also an option order for 50 more cars. They also had an additional 80 cars for Staten Island to replace the R44s running there.

I don't know if this was already explained but why is the staying as 8 cars when this order could make the full length just like the . I thought the MTA wanted to reduce crowding on the 8th Ave Line.

A lot of things took place that pretty much killed making the full length. Started with the R44s and everything that went down with that.

My regional location leaves me used to earthquakes to an extent. Luckily I've never have had to deal with any damage of sorts, but there's been some crazy ones.

 

Anyhow, back to the topic (ironic, I now), it's amazing where roses, a box of chocolates and a good Merlot will take you in one night.

I remember that earthquake all too well. My dad called me and told me about it. I remember the one that happened in the Gulf of Mexico. Our teacher stated an earthquake wasn't likely to happen near Florida. That was funny when we came back to school on Monday and questioned him on that.

Well there was justified hell raising with the Zimmerman trial. Personally I think FL's residents have had enough.

LOL Yeah, Disneyland is in Cali, Disney World is Florida. Waiting for them to probably blame weed if it wasn't "bath salts."

So in Florida apparently there's another case of a naked man getting shot trying to eat the face of a teenager. Welp I'm done with Florida, Disney land is cool and all bit I'll stick to Coney Island and Hershey park.

So? Shit like that happens everyday. There has been a number of times serious car accidents don't even get reported to the media and the same goes with crimes too. That story about the naked man just got lucky enough to be reported in the news.

Where was the news story when several kids got expelled for bringing drugs to my old middle school? Or what about the bus that I saw rear ended? Also another thing, Disney World is not in Miami, it's in Lake Buena Vista, which is over 200 miles away from Miami.
