  1. Does anyone know when the list expires. Wrapping up some business personal, and physical new hip in April. Want to take care of everything before I resubmit. List # 9**. Thanks
  2. I was'nt being arrogant when inquireing aout OT just trying to figure my budget. You hear so many different stories out on the street about how much TO'S earn "Are you kidding those guys make over $100,000" ect. " It's a city job peace of cake" I have alot of respect for you guys even 30 years ago as a punk in High school. Anyway for financial reasons as well as a million other things I'm going to decline the position. Thankyou for your service. Mike
  3. Hey guys after a stressed out 2 weeks and alot of thought I am going to decline the position. I'm # 1 out of 25 drivers in a union shop. This was a way for a complete change and alot less stress on my body physically although certainly not mentally. You guys have great responsibility and I commend you and wish you the best of luck. This is a fantastic forum and aided in my decision. It was fun while it lasted. Mike The Oil Man List 933

  5. Hey guys. Does anyone know if OT is available the first year. I make a good living right now because of the OT. What is the top pay? I'm 51 and would like to start working on a another pension (secure pension...). Huge decision . If this dont work I'll have to contact a devorce lawyer.
  6. Can anyone tell me what the medical consist of. Will taking blood pressure meds exclude you from the position ? Thanks
  7. I was suprised when I checked my mail that I recieved a letter from NYCT. It told me I was to report on April 18 at 7:30 AM for pre interview and medical. The problem is I opened the letter on April 19 when I got home from work. The letter was postmarked April 12 and I was away a few days. I feel like showing up at Livingston Street on Mon. morn, but I guess I'll call first. You would think that you would have 2 weeks notice before reporting. Any ideas? For such good news and a nice Sunday this day sucks!
  8. Recieved my appointment letter for train operator from test
