BPB rush hours weekdays GC local CPW/ 8Av Exp Fulton Exp Lefferts Blvd late nights and weekends 8 av Lcl
As is but CPW local
As is but no Jamaica 179 St branch and skips 75 Av and Briarwood
QBL local via 63 St Jamaica 179 St- Coney Island via 6 Av Lcl & Culver Exp
As is with possible extension to 18 Av and/or Kings Hwy
QBL Super Express Exp via 53 St. 8 Av Lcl WTC-Jamaica 179 St late nights and weekends use
As is. Discontinued will be replaced by Which will run peak direction exp from Marcy Av-Bway Junction stopping at Myrtle. As is
Metropolitan Av-Bay Ridge 95 St 4 Av lcl
Astoria/Bway/4 AvLocal Astoria - CI via Sea Beach
As is with being brought back to serve Brighton exp

although I am wondering if it’s possible to have the terminate at Queens Plaza because then I can discontinue the and have Run local service from Queens Plaza- Whitehall St

So Im working on De-Interlining my fantasy map.
Im trying to decide which would be better
So I have decided that the will replace the and become the Brighton Express and The will replace the at Sea Beach
I currently have the running Bway/4 Av lcl from LaGuardia Airport to Bay Ridge-95 St
And the Running from Jamaica-179 St to Red Hook
Im trying to decide if the should stay at Bay Ridge and if the should go to Red Hook.

Some ideas I've been working on
Bedford Pk Blvd or 145 St - Bay Ridge 95 St late nights shuttle from 95 St-36 St

Brighton Express
Astoria Ditmars - Euclid Av via new track on Flatbush & Fulton
Forest Hills 71 St Av- Coney Island via Brighton Local
Runs to Flatbush Av-Brooklyn College replacing . Weekdays only
Weekends and Late Nights use shuttle bus or M7/M102 for 145 & 148 Sts
To New Lots Av all times
To Crown Heights Utica weekdays

While I understand theres a lot of Expansion projects that are more important than this. I want to know what are your guys take on stop removal/consolidation
Personally the main idea i support is consolidating Hewes & Lorimer Sts on the and creating a Union Av stop with a transfer to Broadway

I like your idea for the train especially if we can get the to extend to Red Hook
can terminate at 96 St/2 Av along with the future
trains can go to Astoria with the going to 96 St/2 Av on weekends

The comes in handy
My train would take over the as the Brighton Express and the would be the Brighton local going to Coney Island.
The i propose would run from Brighton Beach then go over the Manhattan Bridge with the and then switch to the local tracks on 6 av and make stops until Forest Hills. of course only running on Weekdays
The would become the and run via 2 ave until Lexington Av-125 St
would run to Red Hook
would run as a 4 Av local from DeKalb Av - Bay Ridge 95 St.

Some Ideas I've been working on
cut back to City Hall. Debating on whether to send it via QueensLink
168 st - Bay Ridge 95 St via 125 St/2 Av/Nassau St line/4 Av lcl
to Red Hook or send the to red hook
Rockaway Park 116 St-WTC via Queenslink via QBL/53 St/8 Av lcl
Metropolitan Av - 125 St/St Nicholas Av 6av lcl/2 av lcl

So heres what I've been thinking
solely serves Far Rockaway
skips Spring and 23 Sts and serves Lefferts Blvd
8 Av local WTC- Rockaway Park via 53 St local and Queenslink
rerouted via 2 Av line and terminates at 125 St St Nicholas Av
new express tracks at 2 Av then via 3 Av to Fordham Plaza
168 St via 125 St crosstown connection. Run via 2 Av then Nassau St line then via Atlantic Av with a new Station at Clinton St then via Transit Museum Tracks
Fulton St lcl from Hoyt-Schemerhorn to Euclid Av
still debating whether to leave the as the sole local service on Fulton St or have the run express
also trying to decide whether can share QBL Express tracks

Extending the SAS to to 125 & Broadway would be a no-go due to density of 125 st past Amsterdam Av.
I would terminate the at 125 & St Nicholas Av. Have the skip 135 St so the can merge via the local tracks then have it run with the where both will terminate at 168 St . My idea would involve a bottleneck similar to the at 149 GC so that the CPW tracks can connect to SAS.
Then I would have the merge with the via Rivington & Allen Sts so it can use the unused tracks at Bowery, Canal and Chambers. (Still working on where I will send the after Chambers.)

So I originally proposed to have the run to WillyBrg. But then idk how much space it would take up from the . So I prefer the Nassau St route.
I also proposed a Flushing Av Line for the
Jackson Hts - Roosevelt Av/74 St
Queens Blvd/74 St
Maurice-Calamus Avs/69 St
Grand Av/69 St
Fresh Pond Rd/Flushing Av
Metropolitan Av/Flushing Av
Wyckoff Av/Flushing Av
Wilson - Knickerbocker Avs/Flushing Av
Broadway - Bushwick Av/Flushing Av
Nostrand - Marcy Avs (Flushing Av)
Bedford Av/Flushing Av
Classon Av/ Flushing Av
Clinton - Washington Avs/Flushing Av
Gold - Navy Sts/Flushing Av
Tillary St (intersection between Adams & Jay Sts) with OMNY
Henry St/Pierrepont St with OMNY
connects to Montague St tunnel where makes stops from Broad St-Bowery then connects to SAS
Speaking of the I propose making them two separate lines. Maybe even making the teal so the can remain as is.
So heres my idea after Broadway Junction I propose an El consisting of three tracks and four new local stations to be built on Jamaica Av where the will take over
Bushwick - Pennsylvania Avs/ Jamaica Av
Van Siclen Av/Jamaica Av
Ridgewood Av/Jamaica Av
Highland Blvd/Jamaica Av
Afterwards The connects to Cypress Hills and resume service to Jamaica Center
As for the it will make all stops between Broadway Junction and Crescent St. But instead of merging with the i also propose another three Track El via Fulton St-91 Av then via Rockaway Blvd to terminate at Cross Bay-Woodhaven Blvds with a transfer to the
Eldert Lane/Fulton St-91 Av
Atlantic Av/Rockaway Blvd Proposal for new LIRR Station
101 Av/Rockaway Blvd
Ozone Park - Woodhaven - Cross Bay Blvd
I propose only using Crescent St railing for reroutes and GO's

While the idea of a going to South Brooklyn isn't a bad idea and I do love the Crosstown 125 St service, I don't think this plan is all too good in terms of execution, let's start off with the benefits. Having the run along the Nassau St line has been proposed. Dekalb so that's a no go. trains would have to continue to 36 St, however that is also a no go because what is running express south of 36 St? Only other area is 59 St, but you end up having direct crossovers between both the and because the would still be running express with the local. This is questionable as something isn't being solved here, 4 Av is still a line that would be affected with interlining. The other questionable and downside thing is the and , I've said this before on one of your recent posts and I guess I'll have to say it again here, how are the and going to terminating together? There is only one track for trains to terminate at Whitehall St. One could say you can simply add a switch, but then what is solving the dilemma with the ? Currently, both the and swap crews which allows for trains access to Coney Island Yard. I highly doubt Jamaica can handle having to deal with another line since there is already another line that Jamaica is dealing with, that being the now. All in all, I don't think much is being solved here, I definitely don't think the system is de-interlined either. The idea in general isn't bad, but the execution of how this being done is definitely not going to make it any easier to run the system.
Okay then so how about Building a Transfer Between Bowery & Grand St to make up for the lost cross transfer. And if having the run to Brooklyn would be too difficult how about for Phase 4 the simply just terminates at Broad St with the lines. I also had an idea to have a Teal M line after Phase 3 as well but the current M is popular

Future De-interlining Proposal
Second Avenue Subway
Crosstown via 125 st. Terminating at 125/St Nicholas
Phase 4 is scrapped and replaced by new tracks that will interline the Chrystie St Connection with the Downtown Nassau Line
I propose after Houston St the makes stops Between Bowery and Broad St then use the Montague Tunnel where it will then run via Sea Beach line
where as the runs Brighton Express while the runs to Bay Ridge
terminates at Whitehall St with

Some de-interlining ideas I'm trying with but i need to know if I have the late night shuttle and The both terminating at Whitehall St at the same time or is the middle track the only option for terminating trains.
now a 24/7 line Runs via Sea Beach terminates at 36 St/Atlantic Av-Barclays Center weekends/late nights
As is
as discussed running along 53 St
as discussed running along 63 st and runs 24/7
Brighton Express runs weekdays only
As is
Runs late night shuttle pattern in weekends
as is but 24/7 service
as is but if necessary shorter frequencies to make room for on weekends
As is and higher frequencies
Harlem-148 St - Flatbush Av Brooklyn College. Weekend service cut back to South Ferry Station and shorter frequencies if needed
Extended to New Lots Av at all times
Rerouted to Crown Hts Utica Av weekdays. (May run on Future Utica Av line) Weekend/Late night service the same

Seems like the only de-interlining we can agree on is swapping the for 53 st and to 63 st. but unfortunately the MTA wont do it because it means having to make the run 24/7. Past Myrtle/Delancey-Essex. I mean isnt there anyway we can cut back the on weekends to Whitehall/34 st so the can run to Queens during weekends.
but then again the does have the better transfer points which i understand why its given preference.
Same with De-interlining plans with the . I think the would make a good alternative for either Sea Beach or Bay Ridge if were putting both the at Brighton since they prefer Bway lines over 6 av. But the MTA doesn't seem willing to let the or run on weekends.

Some deinterlining ideas I propose
via 53 St
via 63 st
to Brighton
West End
new Queenslink line and cut back to City Hall/Whitehall St
Bay Ridge
as is to Flatbush Av
to Utica Av line
to New Lots Av
to Crown Hts - Utica Av or to Extension to Bway Junction via Eastern Pkwy

Yes, this is a good idea, especially considering how much use the Q52 and Q53 get. However, 36 has so much focus in this forum right now, because the conversation with QB is focused on deinterlining.
yes why not make both 36th and Woodhaven into express stops. Especially if we can get the QueensLink going and send the to the Rockaways

Is the operating via Astoria or QBL? If via Astoria, cut back the because it doesn't need to go to Brooklyn anymore because the needs yard access. If QBL, wouldn't just be easier to keep the as Astoria riders know the more than the and vice versa with QBL riders? That's just a thought.
As for the phase 3 thing, I'm not sure how well the would operate along the Brooklyn-Broadway line or even Jamaica Av line. The might seem like a separate line, but it's really just the skipping stops. Essentially, they're just the same. A better place to run the to is via a new tunnel into Brooklyn to the Fulton St line. Fulton St definitely needs some help and having the replace the would help a lot. They really need to reevaluate on how they want to construct SAS, if it was a 4 track line at least south of 63 St maybe there can be room for it.
Maybe having the run to Bay Ridge would be a better idea. Whether its through Phase 3 and maybe using the Nassau St Line or Phase 4 Through Montague.

Good point so how about to make things simpler i leave the as is now. and simply terminate the At City Hall where there will be a new transfer to the via City Hall/Park Place/Chambers St. The on Weekdays can be extended to Bay Pkwy via Montague 4 Av lcl and on weekends the is cut back to City Hall. Late nights no service runs local from Jamaica Center - Bay Ridge 95 St. And yes City Hall station at Night will be closed as there is the new connection to the .
When Phase 3 of SAS is complete where the will run to Forest Hills 71-Av via 2 Av. and turn on 63 St with the . And what if I cut the and cut service to make room for the to go to Jamaica Center.

So heres an idea. This idea is very experimental so I still plan to refine my ideas but here we go
To Jamaica Center - Bay Ridge 95 St via new Church St connection QBE via 53 St
To Forest Hills 71 Av - Coney Island Stillwell Av QBL via 53 St 6av LCL Culver LCL (Taking over the as 3 Borough Local) Late nights extended back to Jamaica 179 St
Restored weekday service to Forest Hills 71 Av Weekends/Late Night cut back to Court Sq
Middle Village - 2 Av/96 St. (Ultimately when Phase 3 is complete my idea is to send to 125 St/Lex via 2 Av) Weekends cut to Essex St Late Nights Myrtle Av Shuttle
to Astoria - City Hall (Weekdays Only)
Jamaica - 179 St - Bay Pkwy QBE via 63 St Bway LCL 4 Av LCL via West End. Weekends cut to City Hall

Honestly I think having the to Montague would be a great idea because that way you can diversify the service going into Brooklyn. And cut the train short.

Nice plan how many tracks would your proposed 3rd Avenue line have. And would it be elevated. Where would it turn to 3rd Avenue from Webster Avenue
Sorry for late reply but I'm thinking a 4 track line whole way through and once it goes to queens it can be elevated

One idea I was thinking was to send the via 2nd Av then after 42 St. Link up with 53 St tunnel and continue to Forest Hills
Or send the to 2nd Av then go via 63 Street. Then go via 21 St to Astoria Park
