So I took a similar approach to JeremiahC99 As I decided to swap the and having the terminate at a extended version of Astoria Line to LaGuardia Airport along with the . The will run QBL until 63 Dr- Rego Park where the W will turn at 66 Av then go via Clyde/Fleet/Selfridge St. Than it will eventually go via Woodhaven then the tracks on 99/100 Sts.
Stations I propose
Austin St
Yellowstone Blvd
Metropolitan Av- Union Type
Brooklyn Manor- Jamaica Av
Atlantic Av
Liberty Av
Linden Blvd - Pitkin Av
(take off Aquaduct Racetrack or leave it there)
Aquaduct - North Conduit
Broad Channel
(Discontinue Rockaway Park Shuttle)
Beach 90 St
Beach 98 St
Beach 105 St
Rockaway Park - Beach 116 St

The Coney Island-bound run could be much better. The MTA didn’t schedule away the trains at the terminal, and so there was a long delay at West 8 Street. Captain Obvious says: If you find yourself at West 8 Street right after being delayed in between Neptune Avenue and West 8 Street, take the on the upper level to cut down on time waiting for the terminal to clear. Just to be sure that the won’t also be waiting, look for signs on the Manhattan-bound side that indicate a left the terminal recently. It should all be visible from the middle of the train when it’s stranded between Neptune Avenue and West 8 Street.
- (A Coney Island-bound pulled into the station and opened up at 5:10; it closed down at 5:10 and left the station at 5:11. The next train on the countdown clock was designated “Kings Highway ” but the signage on the train read “Culver express” when it arrived.)
- Broadway–Lafayette Street: opened 5:12 (1 minute early when compared to scheduled 5:13)
- Broadway–Lafayette Street: closed 5:12

- York Street: opened 5:20
- (The held a little longer at this station for about a third of a minute.)
- York Street: closed 5:21
- Jay Street–MeteoTech: opened 5:22 (on-time when compared to scheduled 5:22)
- (The train across the platform didn’t wait for the . The conductor made a 20-second announcement about the special F Express program before closing down.)
- Jay Street–MeteoTech: closed 5:23
- (The plowed past the switches on the lower level like they weren't there.)
- (The passed Bergen Street at 5:25.)
- (The passed Carroll Street at 5:25, bypassing the local.)
- (The passed Smith–9 Street at 5:26 with a that was also pulling out of the station. It crept down the incline towards 4 Avenue–9 Street slowly.
- (The passed 4 Avenue–9 Street at 5:27.)
- 7 Avenue: opened 5:28
- 7 Avenue: closed 5:29
- Church Avenue: opened 5:33

- Avenue P: opened 5:42
- Avenue P: closed 5:42
- Kings Highway: opened 5:43 (early by 5 minutes when compared to scheduled 5:48)
- Kings Highway: closed 5:44 (just 15 seconds after opening up—no nonsense here with the holding lights)

- Avenue X: opened 5:47
- Avenue X: closed 5:47
- Neptune Avenue: opened 5:48
- Neptune Avenue: closed 5:48
- (The train stalled from 5:50 to 5:51 in between stations due to another F train in the station up ahead.)
- West 8 Street: open 5:52
- (The train stalled at the station waiting for the terminal track to clear. A Coney Island-bound pulled in during this time and opened up at 5:54 on the upper level, pulling out about 100 seconds later at 5:55 after a Manhattan-bound pulled into the station from the terminal. Another Coney Island-bound pulled in and opened up at 5:58.)
- West 8 Street: closed 6:00 (and pulled out at 6:01 after a Manhattan-bound pulled into the station)
- Coney Island–Stillwell Avenue: opened 6:03 (late by 1 minutes when compared to scheduled 6:02)
I rode the Coney Island bound train from West 4th to Church Av. I was surprised by how smooth the ride was but as well as how empty the car was.

Was thinking the same thing. The closed entrances at 168th, Nostrand, Franklin, 50th Street, and many others have been stuck in limbo waiting for funding for years. Only now that the system gets absurd amount of funding and it still doesn’t happen.
Absolutely I would also like to see some stations get new entrances.

How about a new teal which will run on the line via a new pair of tracks on Chrystie St.
The route will run from Jamaica Center - 125 St/2 Av
while the gets a slight train reduction to make space at WillyB

I'm not sure the teal makes a ton of sense there. The big issue is that you're introducing two new merges on QBL, which is already running at pretty close to capacity on the express end. By running the along 63 St and then along QBL you're probably going to f**k people relying on the because the brief merge is likely to cause delays on the . Furthermore, the southbound would need to be timed to hit the Queensbridge interlocking exactly as an train does so that the doesn't get held up by an merging and the northbound is going to need absolute priority over the , so any error could back up QBL express and 6 Av local services.
The variant where the returns and serves Euclid is interesting but isn't going to work on existing trackage; the issue is that the and share one track pair coming into Jay St-MetroTech and so there aren't really open slots on the 8 Av/Fulton tracks there. Furthermore, even if you do get it working any small f**kup is gonna wind up causing conga lines on the . If you want to add service on the Fulton local the thing that would make the most sense would be to extend both the 8 Av and 2 Av local tracks down to Whitehall St, then build a four-track terminal station at Whitehall with two tracks to turn the and two through tracks to Court St. That would free up the 8 Av-Fulton tracks to their full 60tph capacity, and if you structured the track layout at Whitehall St well you'd be able to keep the running cleanly; I put a track map for the station below.
The train idea is solid, but is there a reason you want to end it in Harlem? If you run it as an express you can tie 2 Av to Queens or the Bronx with it while still keeping end-to-end time reasonable.
Thanks for the feedback. I had in mind that the could serve as a replacement for the up until Phase 4 is introduced
But now that you mentioned it can the 2 Av handle the though
because if so I could run the from Fordham Rd- Broadway Junction as a local via 2 Av/3 Av
or have it go from Jamaica Center to Broadway-125 St
The can go from Coney Island- Bay Plaza 3 Av Express
The can go from Kings Plaza via Utica Av to Bay Plaza via 2 Av/3 Av/ Pelham Pkwy local

Some Ideas I wanna put out there
Teal 1
Metropolitan Av- Forest Hills 71 Av
Via 2nd Av
After Essex St The runs on 2 Av line from Houston St - 55 St
then runs on the line via 63 St stopping on Roosevelt Island & 21 St Queens Bridge Then runs local from 36 St- Forest Hills 71 Av
Teal 2
Metropolitan Av- 2nd Av/125 St
Restore line and extend to Euclid Av
Teal
Brighton Beach- 2 Av/125 St
Teal
Broadway Junction - 2 Av/125 St
After Essex St via Chrystie St Connection run on the 2 Av line phases 1-3

If you're talking about the going local (late nights), it runs between 207 and Far Rockaway as a local. Then a shuttle train between Euclid Avenue and Lefferts takes effect serving that branch.
I know that but I was referring to this new idea that started a page back

I'm just curious if the is going local? what will serve Far Rockaway & Lefferts?

I assume the frequency of Montague Tunnel is 24 TPH
71 Av- Euclid Av (via State St) 8 TPH
Astoria-Brighton Express 8 TPH
B'way Junction - Bay Ridge 95 St 8 TPH

Sending the to Bay Ridge with no Upper/Midtown Manhattan service is ridiculous. When the went there it wasn't as popular as the . I'm not saying that it shouldn't happen. But it shouldn't happen with it being the sole local train via 4 Av.
The plays a big role as it is being the sole train that is local in three boroughs. And connecting popular Neighborhoods like Astoria and Bay Ridge to the city.
If you guys are saying that having the run to 71st Av wouldn't work. Then the alone to Bay Ridge wouldn't work

Question how popular is the idea of Bringing the back to Forest Hills-71 Avenue?
My ideas
Metropolitan Av to 96 St/2 av 6 Av local
Astoria- Ditmars Blvd to Brighton via Bway local/Brighton Express

I don't really think we should send the to the Bronx as a north-south line- the best use for it could be a 161st/163rd and Bruckner line to Throgs Neck, but for now it should just be left alone.
good idea let me try it that way.
UPDATE: Logistics are tricky with this route
Primarily trying to decide whether to send it down Story or Laffayette would be a viable options because sending down a subway line down a highway wouldn't be feasible

The provisions for the line would preclude serving Chambers Street as the extension was planned to run under Worth Street. The bellmouths are just south of Canal Street. From Worth Street, the line would continue via East Broadway, intersecting with the 6 Avenue Line at Rutgers Street. The East Broadway station has provisions for an upper level platform for such a line.
Hmm okay. I'll edit my line to do this instead and probably create a shuttle that goes from South 4 - 2 Av

Im just wondering if theres a possibility we could, extend the E past WTC, Use the South 4 St connection, also I'm using the idea that was proposed to run a line via Stuyvesant Av to get to Utica.

I didn't know that but since they both are fine the way they are lets leave them at their current routes
