  1. Speaking of the Frankin (S) there was a unplanned service change because of track work at Frankin/Fulton.But what I want to know is Why does the whole shuttle have to be suspended. There is a switch between Botanic Garden and Park Place.Run a train between Prospect Park and Botanic Garden. No?

That's crazy.15 min before newkirk plaza. It was that bad?

It was pretty bad, my friend was on a (B) ahead of mine and was stuck after Church Avenue.

That's not a good idea considering the fact that the conductor of a 600' train told everyone to cram on a 150' train...

Like I said, he suggested everyone to use the (S) not literally EVERYONE get on the one sitting across the platform. None the less, it was one packed (S) and at Botanic Garden platform was jammed.

  2. Seems like the (B) is fine, they just took it off the service changes.

maybe there was a (Q) train got stuck behind this mess and the (B) couldn't get thru. they must made that 1 (Q) to go to 6th ave to clear track for the (B) who know what happen especially when you assume.

Yeah, boy was I wrong. Right after I posted that and got on the (B) ; we were held between Kings Highway and Newkirk Plaza around Avenue J for at least 15 minutes. We then were held between Prospect and Church for another 10 minutes. *(Initially caught up to the (Q) that I was originally on at Church. But when we were held again, I didn't see the (Q) get to Parkside.) When we got to Prospect, conductor suggests we take the (S) to the (2)(3)(4)(5) or (A)(C) and next thing you know, the (B) became a ghost town. I've never seen the (S) so packed in my life! I literally didn't have to hold on to anything.

  3. So I was on a Harlem bound (3) this morning and we were held at Wall Street station for about 15-20 minutes. The conductor told us that there was a train with a brakes malfunction, so everyone in the car I was in figured the train with that problem was in front of us. Surprisingly, the train with the problem was at Nevins Street after the station made an announcement a little after the conductor (and sending some (2) via the (5) ).

Which brings me to my question, what was the reason to hold the (3) I was in at Wall Street when the problem train was at Nevins Street?

  4. When dealing with such great amounts of money AS IT is, an extra tunnel and or other things involved will not much a catastrophic change that would be noticeable to the public. Like if something were to cost $2 billion to build and another thing costs $2 billion and let say a couple million, it would most likely still say $2 billion. (Small margin at best.)

Same analogy with it being difficult. Both plans prove difficult already with today's infrastructures already. At that magnitude of difficulty, even it it's less difficult, it'll be a small margin to comparing it to building a new road instead.

  5. I have 2 strikes under my belt about my language...and one of them is from Harry himself lol

I don't know whether if I've been warned or not, but I'm sure I've been...watched to say the least. But when I mean I have a heavy filter, I mean I tend to keep straight truthful words out of my responses because I know a lot can not handle them. Or probably my opinions are outrageously point blank which again, not a lot can handle but say adults can.

I don't care for them. People like Christopher Hitchens and Sam Harris made it work... I forget most good points that I have lying around my head if someone challenges me

A no to the peeve thread, I take it?

You didn't really understand my post but I figured that already while posting it. My post meant in literal terms, that most people who have these kinds of debates do not fully understand what creationist means or even evolution...and I mean in both parties as well.

And also to add, a peeve thread? I requested a flamethrower thread a few months ago which is basically the same thing, just my suggestion has no boundaries. But it's confirmed that people will take things too seriously sometimes and take things the total opposite of wrong, in wrong ways.

  6. Typical Creationist vs Evolutionist debates...too bad your scenario is not the ideal one in both parties.

Something which is starting to tick me off is people's inability to accept the fact that others have varying opinions.

We all fell victim to this once or twice, unfortunately you have also.

  7. Watch NYC Public schools still be open despite treacherous conditions.

That has different meaning in every state I feel. I mean look at the treacherous disaster in Atlanta and parts of Florida after some "flurries."

Hmm, I'm more worried about morning commute than evening commute for some odd reason, for tomorrow.

  8. Speaking of that, what is everyone's opinion on UFOs or USOs? That's something that has never really been discussed around here.

My opinion is that not a lot of people realize that not all UFO's are "alien crafts" and that UFO stands for Unidentified Flying Object...so basically an unnamed plane can be called a UFO. But that's just me.
