I'm sure if any MTA employees were to see them lurking in the tunnels the police would be notified immediately. some of them are just lucky I guess. I've heard of stories that the motormen seen the vandals in the tunnels and they would radio for the police. Then the police would be scared to go in and get them. They would wait for MTA personnel.
