Rapid Transit TO Posted August 4, 2009 Share #2 Posted August 4, 2009 All transit training is paid. Dunno where you'll go, I'm sure you'll travel around a bit. I think different shops handle different systems. If you know anything about electrical & mechanical production equipment systems, and can understand how they relate to work together, you shouldn't have a problem. CI's troubleshoot, & check trains for service, not rebuilds or physically heavy work, at least from what I see.. Another reason Car equip dept is good because there are other CI's around, you can talk/pick their brains, learn as you go.. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
