tramrunner Posted January 18, 2008 Share #1 Posted January 18, 2008 I have a freind in Ukraine. He is a railfan, he speaks English and dreams to leave Ukraine for Canada, or USA. He has a Master' s Degree in Tranportation Management and Planning. And looks for for transit-related job in Canada, or USA. He does not condired himself over-qualified for driving streetcars in Toronto, or working as a car inspector in NYC. However, the problem is that he is not US Citizen, nor Resident. He lives in Ukraine and does not have any relatives in USA. However he is so proficient in USA that I'm sure he will be the best worker.
NewJerseyT Posted January 18, 2008 Share #2 Posted January 18, 2008 I'm not sure but,I'm sure he could work for one if he gets a work visa,or becomes a U.S. citezen...unless there are some rule and regulations that say you must be U.S. citizen and must be one for x amount of time.
