PATCOman Posted February 7, 2010 Share #1 Posted February 7, 2010 In the 6 Phillies games I went to last year, this was the only one they won. The Phillies won 7-3 and whenever I see Brett Myers start a Phillie game, the Phils are 4-1. There were 7 total HRs hit in the game (Phillies with 4 and the Yankees had 3 solo shots). The most combined HRs I have seen in a Phillie game live was 8 (June 13, 2006- Mets at Phils). Jimmy Rollins hit a HR off A.J. Burnett in the first pitch of the game. That manual scoreboard is an excellent touch, but could be hard to read That screen is HUGE! Is there any room for 2009? Nifty rain delay graphic I was trying to get the winner, but my timing was off. IIRC, the ( won. This seemed easier than the one at the old stadium. Carlos Ruiz had an excellent game. He went 3-4 and had a HR and a stolen base. Not bad for a catcher. Also, that radar gun and pitch counter can be hard to find at a first visit. I forgot if that is the only one there or not. After A-Rod's HR. Yankee Stadium does not have anything fancy like a ringing bell, fireworks, or an apple rising from a hat. They just play a song over the system followed by the church bell chime. The "3B" looks like a "36" YAY PHILLIES WIN!! YS looks nice at night.
Bx41 Wakefield Posted February 8, 2010 Share #2 Posted February 8, 2010 Nice pics, I went to the game the next day when they walked off. I don't blame you for not being able to see the analogue scoreboard, you were way up there. My favorite is when they play "whoop, there it is" after a homerun. PATCOman Posted February 9, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted February 9, 2010 I could read it ok, however my mother was saying how small it was. At least the new stadium is not as high up as the old one.
