Honolulu, Hawaii, To Join U.S. Cities With Rail Lines

Recommended Posts

From this project overview, it appears Honolulu, Hawaii will be building an elevated rail system. Called TheRail (Honolulu's bus system is called TheBus), it looks like it will be light rail. The Traffic Updates page says the first link will be 6.5 miles from East Kapolei to Pearl Highlands.

The Video Page contains more information and a virtual tour of TheRail.

I think that it would be kind of  to railfan Honolulu and O'ahu.

Link To TheBus (The bus on the home page looks nice): http://www.thebus.org/

TheBus' home page has a link to the Pacific Tsunami Center - Hawaii Bulletin and to the Central Pacific Hurricane Center.
