N1N2 Posted March 7, 2012 Share #1 Posted March 7, 2012 Hello Everyone, My name is Dan, and I used to go by the username "DaWheelFlange" on Dave Pirmann's SubTalk from 1997-2001. I used to run a railfanning website called nyrail.org, of which I sadly lost the ownership of the domain. I later ran an urban exploration website called industrialnewyork.com that is also now defunct. After I went to college and came back to NY to start working, I got away from the foamer community and frankly stopped riding the subway as much as I used to because I had bought a car and motorcycle. Now, over 10 years after I left SubTalk, I rediscovered my buff roots when I took my girlfriend to the Amherst Model Railway Show in Springfield, MA about two months ago. So, I'd like to say I'm returning to the newest incarnation of the board that I missed for so long, and hopefully the people here are (and aren't) as crazy as the batch of misfit lunatics that roamed the board years ago.
