Pakenhamtrain Posted June 10, 2012 Share #1 Posted June 10, 2012 G'day all. I made a trip down to Geelong and spend the half hour between trains to take and took a few shots. Geelong is a city about 70KM south west of Melbourne on the Melbourne to Warrnambool rail line and the Melbourne to Adelaide SG line. Train services to and from Geelong carry more passengers than any other regional line in Australia. It also boasts a large bus service. Departing Geelong station with a service to Marshall is an unknown VLocity and VLocity 1247-1347-1147. Outside at the bus terminal is McHarry's 161(Scania K270UB/Express) with a Route 45 to Corio. Parked 3 bays McHarry's buses 157(Scania K270UB/Express) 170(Mercedes Benz OH1830LE/Express) and 152(Scania K270UB/Express) with route 62 to St Albans Park, 79 to St Lenards and 80 to Ocean Grove. Coming into Geelong is Bender's #123 (Scania K230UB/Volgren CR228L) with a route 34 service. Running not in service towards Geelong Station is McHarry's #34( Mercedes Benz O500LE/Volgren CR228L) Returning from Marshall, VLocity 47 and the unknown unit with full headlights lit travel down the Geelong tunnel.
