metsfan Posted July 22, 2008 Share #1 Posted July 22, 2008 Does MNRR have any box cab diesels? I was curious, since most of their older stuff in other venues would run with a box cab in back and a streamlined cab in front. - Andy
Fred G Posted July 24, 2008 Share #2 Posted July 24, 2008 I would say no. If they did have any box cabs, they'd display them at the annual open house at Croton-Harmon.

I wonder how many box cab units are left in the country from those days - Andy

Also, i wonder if they have any "B" cabless units. I doubt they'd have ones that use 3rd rail though. Does the 3rd rail system still work on the FL10's, or is it disabled like the FL9's? - Andy
Fred G Posted July 25, 2008 Share #6 Posted July 25, 2008 They're F10's and like the FL-9's are no longer 3rd rail capable, so no GCT.
