N6 Limited Posted September 17, 2013 Share #1 Posted September 17, 2013 When I was in London, many of the bus stops had countdown clocks for all buses serving the bus stop (Like the IRT lines have now). Does anyone know if it simply displayed the timepoint on bus schedules? Or did it use GPS to be more accurate?
Minato ku Posted September 17, 2013 Share #2 Posted September 17, 2013 Buses are geolocalized, so, we can calculated approximatively in how many time they will come, taking account of the traffic and the time taken by the previous buses. This is pretty common all over Europe.
N6 Limited Posted September 18, 2013 Author Share #3 Posted September 18, 2013 Thanks it was pretty useful. Especially when you can choose between two or more routes
