nostalgia Posted November 27, 2013 Share #1 Posted November 27, 2013 This is pasted from Train time: Is the weather the source of these delays. Amtrak is taking a beating. lirr42 Posted November 27, 2013 Share #2 Posted November 27, 2013 Yes. They were hand trowing switches at SoNo for a little while, I believe, if that gives you any clue as to the state of affairs on the NHL earlier this evening.
nostalgia Posted November 27, 2013 Author Share #3 Posted November 27, 2013 Yes. They were hand trowing switches at SoNo for a little while, I believe, if that gives you any clue as to the state of affairs on the NHL earlier this evening. I should have checked MN status before I wrote. The message was signal problems. Based on how late Amtrak was running, these problems occurred for most of the afternoon into the evening. lirr42 Posted November 27, 2013 Share #4 Posted November 27, 2013 Amtrak was also having exciting fun elsewhere on its system too. It was just one of those kind of days. The LIRR did pretty well, though!
nostalgia Posted November 27, 2013 Author Share #5 Posted November 27, 2013 Amtrak was also having exciting fun elsewhere on its system too. It was just one of those kind of days. The LIRR did pretty well, though! I concentrated on the NEC. Springfield shuttles left without their connection at NHV. Boston trains were late but in time for the next shuttle. 176's pax went on 494. 94's pax went on 148. NARP's website shows complete status from origin to final destination. Sample below.
