Scenes from Opening Day at Mets-Willets Point

 

Monday marked the Mets Home Opener and the first day of Mets-Willets Point event service at the station for 2014.  The MTA uploaded several pictures of the damp first day to its Flickr stream yesterday, and I have included several of them below:

The outcome of Monday's game wasn't as smooth as easygoing as the event trains after the game, but there's still hope.  I'll be utilizing the station for the first time in 2014 this Friday, so hopefully the Mets are doing better then!
