qjtransitmaster Posted December 16, 2014 Share #51 Posted December 16, 2014 In Manhattan? The north-south routes? Don't agree with that at all.... Have you have shorter, more frequent bus routes, that would instantly drive that many more people to subways - since the shorter routed buses wouldn't cover enough ground.... and worse, you're still ignoring the street grid Manhattan has - the last thing it needs are shorter, more frequent routes clogging up Manhattan's roads; on layover all over the place at that..... How much curbside space do you think the borough has available for more frequent routes???? for say more consistent m103&102 service have north of 60th be m102 south of m103 no change to m2&101. Truncation of the M4 at Columbia to enable better reliability. Bx11&13 can take over fort Washington segments. Broadway use m5 & bus for local subway for LTD. M22 however can cover more ground. Ltd stop bus service on 6th ave is well a sham. The only legitimate LTDS are M101,M15 SBS, & m2& m1 on Madison/5th.
