Q Broadway Express Posted February 1, 2019 #1 Posted February 1, 2019 I just purchased a copy of Mr. Gene Sansone's excellent book New York Subways An Illustrated History Of New York City's Transit Cars. It is the Centennial edition from 2004 and is hard cover with dust jacket. I purchased it through Abebooks for $40.00 plus $4.00 shipping. I am looking forward to reading it.
Q Broadway Express Posted February 1, 2019 Author #2 Posted February 1, 2019 Bookseller Berkshire Books has just confirmed my purchase at Abebooks and is in the process of shipping my book. I am looking forward to seeing the photos.
Q Broadway Express Posted February 4, 2019 Author #3 Posted February 4, 2019 The Post Office sent me a notification. They estimate that my book will be delivered to me on Friday February 8th.
Q Broadway Express Posted February 5, 2019 Author #4 Posted February 5, 2019 The Post Office sent me a notification. My book arrived in Tucson, Arizona at 5:18 am this morning. Maybe it will be delivered today, instead of Friday and I will see it tonight after I get home from work. I work 4:00 to 8:00 pm. I think the Centennial edition of New York Subways could have the R142s.

Q Broadway Express Posted February 5, 2019 Author #6 Posted February 5, 2019 My book arrived just before I left for work at 1:30 pm! What can I say? Beautiful, beautiful book! 508 pages - much expanded from the first edition which I owned. Lots of photos. I am glad that I bought it.
Q Broadway Express Posted February 6, 2019 Author #7 Posted February 6, 2019 I do apologise! It was New York City Subway Cars that I owned a first edition of. I somehow got Gene Sansone and James Clifford Greller mixed up! This is the first book by Gene Sansone that I owned.
Q Broadway Express Posted February 15, 2019 Author #8 Posted February 15, 2019 I can not believe that I got Gene Sansone and James Clifford Greller mixed up! Mr. Sansone's book is excellent and thorough. I love the I.R.T. and B.M.T. historic and vintage cars sections of the book.
