JoeySeaBeach Posted October 6, 2022 Share #1 Posted October 6, 2022 Does anyone have any photos of the old Lawrence St. subway station placards that used to be on the columns of the RR platform in Brooklyn? They had the elongated "L"and the rest of the name inside and underlined by it? Does anyone rember these? Better yet, does anyone know if they exist for sale? Any response would be appreciated.
MHV9218 Posted October 7, 2022 Share #2 Posted October 7, 2022 Good memory! Not my photo - comes from WorthPoint's archive: https://thumbs.worthpoint.com/zoom/images1/1/0321/06/vintage-nyc-subway-lawrence-sign_1_49bf387a3b0ba67e2c422a1a9d354873.jpg These come up for sale every 6-12 months, I'd say. Usually $300 and up depending on condition.
