Does anyone know why?

This is a program that began on select stops along the (D) train during the structural repair phase that shut down the Grand Concourse Express for months as part of a form of a Select Maintenance Service for stops before they fall into disrepair. It has spread to the (7) train as of late and 4 (that is, Lexington) Avenue for weekend General Orders.

The stations still looks bad, they needed a complete rehabilitation, we need another ESI program to renovate selected stations, or even an entire trunk line, ridiculous how the MTA says “ReNewvation” is innovative, they aren’t fixing anything, stations need full complete rehabilitation, not just a 3 day closure
