metsfan Posted February 13, 2009 Author Share #3 Posted February 13, 2009 These !@##^$^$ winds have been causing problems for everyone it seems. Yea, i posted a NOAA alert about this for the east coast last night. When i met my woman earlier today at R7 levittown, the wind was incredible. She said she could feel it moving the (NJT) train down from newark especially at stops, and when the doors were opened the wind would blow through the train completely overwhelming the HVAC for a few moments. I can't imagine what exchange place would have been like. That area is windy most days enough to slam a door shut. - A
kaback9 Posted February 13, 2009 Share #4 Posted February 13, 2009 I was photographing after class at the nearby NJT station on the Coast line and the wind was so intense I waited in my car for a while til the next train. Hopefully its better tomorrow so I can actually get some better shots.
metsfan Posted February 13, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted February 13, 2009 This station is still closed today. (NJT) is asking people to use PATH to reach the mall and nearby area till the HBLR station re-opens. - A
