Trainspotter 0 Posted October 5, 2007 Share #1 Posted October 5, 2007 Mom hit with 222G fine for downloading, sharing music DULUTH, Minn. - A jury ordered a Minnesota mom who shared rock and pop tunes over the Internet to pay $222,000 to six record labels in a first-of-its-kind ruling yesterday. She's surely listening to Connie Francis' "Who's Sorry Now?" today. Full story: NY Daily News - October 5, 2007

R1Toasty 0 Posted October 5, 2007 Share #3 Posted October 5, 2007 the usual... in my opinion, all music should be free of cost. singing should become a hobby, not a paid occupation. The only problem with that is that nobody would make music because they wouldn't get paid for it. However, it's not like the record companies are really taking that big of a hit from the pirates, not that I endorse illegal downloading of files and such.
