Had a train operator that bypassed Van Siclen Queens bound at full speed and braked head end into Cleveland comfortably. Now if he can do this, surley these slowww train ops can do it too, RUNNING LOCAL.

Am I misunderstanding you or are you really applauding the fact that you were riding a train with a jackleg T/O who doesn't know how to operate by the rules? Inquiring minds want to know, LOL.
No misunderstanding sir. The ride was fun. Thou I do understand your perspective on this.

You don't know how hype I was to have a T/O that didn't even bother to slow down when skipping stations during skip stop service.

I totally agree with you. I think they should let southbound Fulton Street local trains roll at 20-22 miles per hour from Clinton-Washington all the way to Franklin.
I also think they should get rid of those timers before Ralph Avenue northbound. Its a straight shot from Rockaway to Ralph northbound. Very fewer Manhattan-bound trains I've been on hit 38-40 MPH into Ralph northbound.
Wait I don't get what you mean by having them run at 20-22 mph. Unless you mean that's the average speed trains reach through that area? I agree with those timers before Ralph thou. Very few T/Os ignore those timers and fly in the station.

That timer before Franklin Ave on the heading s/b is a joke. You're already coming up a hill, don't see the need to slow us down any further.

Today's the last day, actually.
oh well. I did enjoy the ride today, just that the pictures didn't come out too good.

I overheard an MTA employee say the vintage train won't run next Sunday due to track work. Anyone can confirm this?

those automated announcements are really startin' to f*c'k up.. the most I usually hear it repeat "This is a Manhattan bound _ train, the next stop is..." is twice. Today I heard one on the J repeat itself three times..

lol... Why not? You've been waiting this long, right?
Yea thou the thing is they usually have some good sales throughout November and December and one thing I heard is it wouldn't be uncommon for one to find an item on Black Friday that was actually cheaper on any other day.
Thou my impatience already got to me, around half an hour after I posted that question I decided to order it.. lol

I'm looking into buying a desktop on Newegg which is already on sale. Should I buy it now or wait until Black Friday? Will they reduce the price even more?

I'm pretty sure I know exactly who you're talking about - he's dating a friend of mine.
Smash Cut to text messages:
Me: "Hey did I just see your boyfriend opping the goddamn 3 train"
Her: "Hahahahahah oh yeah I forgot to tell you"
hmmm, well he was working the Q if anything.

Why is it that every time a new train model comes out, the railfans always praise the company who built the trains for "their" great design? Isn't it the designers within the customer's company that well, come up with the design?
