I was sitting next to driver on 166T, and I had to fart..lol. As soon as I did, the B/O opened the window by him and gave me the look... Felt so sorry for him...

Could've been coming back from NY or he just put that sign up, haven't seen that too much since the Clever Device installation but it's probably still possible.

 One of the bus driver didn't know how to use clever devices. So instead of 166T to Leonia, the bus had 166T to New York...

saw D60HF on M23 today...it's odd seeing them on M23 now...

some bus drivers from Oradell are true badasses...in a very good way

Saw some buses out of places. LFSA from West Farms was doing M101 and Tuskegee LFSA was doing M14

I love the B/O who always put up 400,500,600 route destination signs on MCI, while bus is out of service

I love it when people have to crouch down to see if the bus is 165T or 166T at gate 324 after 10PM....

Looks like they are starting to replace the signs in the 40ft MCIs. I saw a Ironbound D4000 with a Luminator on the 114 tonight....looked good!

saw 8522 with new signs today, One thing, they look bit small but I can be wrong since I saw it on my way home from PABT. 

now what up with 126st depot sticker on side of the bus where MTA logo should be...LOL

I feel like 9000's from Meadowlands are bit sluggish compared to 7100's from same depot...

Quick question. There are bunch of NABI's parked by retired NOVA's by Meadowlands garage. Are they newly delivered buses or from meadowlands? 

I saw bunch of training buses from all over NYC around park and 23rd. Buses from JFK, CS and Grand ave were here.

Online Q15 schedule still shows that X32 is still running at Bayside Ave...

2044 had the LOUDEST windshield wiper today...definitely pissed off the B/O, and myself as well...

saw 3515 coming out from Lincoln Tunnel into city today with Q11 sign. I wonder why it went to Jersey?

 

HBLR to Tenafly would be great because it would help with the rush hour needs of that bus in the AM for people that travel from Nunguessers to Tenafly, Leonia, and the other aforementioned places. That 166 is stuffed so bad in the AM that at times, other buses that were empty to go back and do a trip on the 128 was asked to do a 166 instead to Leonia or Tenafly. That includes me. I would just also have a stop in Teaneck at Holy Name Hospital, just for people to get to a hospital if needed.

 

 

Taking 166T in the morning to NY is like a lottery. Sometimes you end up in an empty bus, other times, you're stuffed like caged animal. HBLR would be a big help to northern Bergen County

I personally feel the Northern Branch project is severely flawed for a variety of reasons, one main ones is that it will NOT be an extension of the HBLR. Under the last proposals I read, the current plan would essentially be a separate service (using DMU's), with stations heading south from Tenafly located in Englewood, Leonia, Palisades Park, Ridgefield and Fairview before ending in North Bergen, with a station transfer at Tonnelle Avenue required to access the HBLR. IMHO service designed like that isn't going to attract many people, especially if it terminates in North Bergen.

 

actually, it is the extension of HBLR. The project is called Northern Branch and the proposal is to build LRT to either Englewood or Tenafly, which would definitely benefit Bergen County

saw few baby NABIs parked by Meadowlands Garage, by dead Red and Tan Novas with "regular" NABIs this morning. I saw this from the turnpike so I can't tell their numbers...

do we have enough artics for rush hours? but I strongly agree 126,128 need them

thats what i was thinking.... swap MCIs from Newton Ave w/ Fairview's restrooms MCIs? and make the Bergenline Ave buses exact fare by adding fareboxes on their NABIs and Neoplans

I always laugh whenever I see MCI with bathroom running on 159X 60th Street Express...its ridiculous

Drivers at Newton Ave want restrooms on MCIs.... especially for the 317

makes me wonder, why do some Fairview MCI's have bathrooms? I feel they belong in South Jersey where they would cover more ground...IMO

After seeing a non-artic bus on M103, I wonder how some routes kept up with passenger loads before articulated buses were introduced?
