am I the only one that thinks NJT MCI have better seats than MTA MCI? Sitting through traffic jam on Northern Blvd, due to gas shortage, was painful...especially my back

I saw some round stickers, which look like a bus garage emblem, on side of buses that operate out of Howell...

I think bunch of buses from Howell have their garage logo...

I was wondering why a bus from Spring Creek depot (running BM2 or 3) had MTA NYCT bus logo instead of MTA Bus...It was 7400 series...

Waiting for M15SBS at 23st, I see a blue blinking lights. I get off my seat to discover that it is M34A SBS...

The announcement "please move away from doors" on C40LF sounds so sad...compared to same announcements on LFSA buses... IMO

took Q44 yesterday...and the AC was blasting to the max. Even though the weather was gorgeous outside, the bus was traveling in arctic region...

btw, I had a bus ride through hell...a.k.a Bx36...

Correct me if I'm wrong but there isn't a direct PABT to Hackensack Bus Terminal route, correct? (I know the 165 takes you close to it but you got to walk like 2 or 3 blocks.)

 

You are absolutely correct. Only route from Hackensack Bus Term to NY is 178,182, which takes you to GWB

10:30 to 3? I just checked the new NJT schedule and there are zero 128's after 9:56 leaving North Bergen.............is there something that I'm missing?

 

I think NJT didn't update their schedule...yet

For some interstate routes in Northern NJ

1. Add some outbound, off-peak, and weekend express service.

- Many times, going into NYC during off peak, and weekend is a major pain in the rear. Adding some express service would be nice for off peak travelers. (some suggested routes are 156R,159R,166T,165T,177X, and maybe 190X)

2. New artics on some lines

- Some lines need artic buses, not NABIs or D4000's (hint hint 126,123). I don't know whats been keeping NJT from getting at least few more artics to serve during rush hours in high volume routes...

Rode Prevost X3 express bus today for the first time. WOW, what a great experience. It was a fast ride on the X1 from Eltingville to 41st st, quiet and very nice looking car (IMO).

saw 6080 on 751 this morning

saw a NABI bus on 780 today. It was going so fast so I couldn't see the number but my guess is that NABIS on community coach began their service...

Another note: Today I saw #5762 on the 181 to Union City; that bus Was @ Big Tree (Nutley) Garage but I believe that this bus has been re-assigned to Meadowlands, I think.

 

I think so as well. I was on 577x, which was running on 83 last week

Am I the only one that feels that LFSA is more cramped than New Flyer Artics?
