I assume that maybe every 8 minutes would run. We don't know yet. But I'm concerned that it would be even more packed if the has a problem causing QBL to overflow. I noticed that it states that on few weekends the will be local in Queens.

No rush hour service to/from Jamaica-179 St AM & PM Rush Hours, Mon to Fri, Aug 17 - Sep 4 • Take the instead. Transfer to/from trains at Union Tpke. Does that mean the will be more crowded? Service Change Posted: 07/15/2015 5:15PM Due to signal problems at 5 Av-59 St, the following service changes are in effect: Southbound , and trains are running with delays. Some southbound trains are running on the line from 36 St (QNS) to 57 St-7Av. Allow additional travel time. I hope that they won't cut the service to/from Astoria. They tend to do it.

The MTA should focus on a weekend shutdown on the Astoria portion since it having so many issues. A full weekend would be ideal to allow workers to focus on switches and the signals.

Due to a train with mechanical problems at Queensboro Plaza, southbound , and Times Sq bound trains are running with delays. Allow additional travel time. I'm confused. Which line has the problem train? I know that the is going through fastrack. Possiblity the Astoria bound is having problems.

It is due to a broken switch at 135th street. Still ongoing. The weekend is here so no service and I am not sure if the Rockaway bound service will resume by tomorrow. I don't get why they have to suspend the Rockaway service? Simply send the local from 145th street to 125th street and resume normal express service if the switch is still ongoing.

Maybe they got all linked. First they investigated the problem, then sent track workers there to correct the problem, then the switch went on a fritz (my assumption) If this issue lasts overnight I think they might have to do a weekend work on it. Sending the local to 125th street.

I think that they might increase the service to help to make up for the . Unless it is a major game with top stars they might cancel the night. They did cancel one night with the Lex Ave fasttrack when there was a sold out concert at Yankee Stadium.

They really need to have a entire weekend shutdown on the Astoria portion of the to do the switch work.

Due to signal problems at 14 St-Herald Square, some southbound trains are running local from Time Square-42 St to Canal St. 14 St- Herald Square. That is a new stop.

They should offer shuttle buses from 21st-Queensbridge to Roosevelt Island making connection at Queens Plaza. The Q102 might be packed already and lines are possibility forming at the Roosevelt Island tram toward Manhattan.

Due to Con Ed power failure at Lexington Av-63 St, the following service changes are in effect: trains are running on the line from Jackson Hts-Roosevelt Av to 5 Av-53 St then on the to 47-50 Sts-Rockefeller Ctr in both directions. There is no train service between Delancey St-Essex St and Forest Hills-71 Av in both directions. 71 Av-bound trains are running on the line from Delancey St-Essex St to Chambers St. , and Metropolitan Av-bound trains are running with delays in both directions. Why not they terminate the at 145th and sending the express while the NYPD activity is occurring. 12-9 possible.
