  1. You can fit 2 40" buses on each lane without much problem..so it should be able to hold one artic fine per lane. The only deal is that sharp turn when it goes towards atlas park.

The real bugger is if LGA can handle them..

If LGA depot get does get articulated bus... At least LGA depot will able to retire or scrap 1996 RTS Nova Bus how many they can.. Guess. They at least Orion7 hybird electric & 2011 Orion7NG #4000 series , & #4500 series...

  2. Alot of activity this weekend...

    Also 8793, 9122, 9216, 9221 to JA

That leaves 8990 the only '96 nova at 126

    5023-5027 @126th (excluding 5025 thats at UP)

    3832-3833 to MJQ

    5060-5061 to FLA

:D  The Manhattan divison is now free from 1996 RTS Nova Bus . 126 street Depot don't carry anymore 1996 RTS Nova Bus... just 1 left.. I hope it go to MTA bus that LGA depot. When 126 street depot shut down.. When Mother Clara Hale Depot reopen... saying... off topic can't wait Orion5 come back service Mother Clara Hale Depot. saying.

  3. The base order didn't even start revenue yet. Wow.

Good joke off topic... Where is R142A #7210... R142A #7209 have been renumbered to #7899... So it true lil silly.. R142A #7210 have been renumbered to R142A will be mostly guess. R188 #7811.. guess 2 set were left R142A at Yonkers plant lol.

  4. I hoped they'd be moved by rail through Hell's Gate. Would have made some nice shots.

ummm You mean R179... R142 bombardier was delivered to Hell Gate..off topic.. That next car will be delivered to Hell Gate next R179 built by Bombardier..

  5. the MTA sent the the cars 7211-7215 to the Pitkin Yard for testing on the Broad Channel track after the conversion, there is pictures revealing the location

    Ok. But You know R188 mostly so called R142A #7211 - #7215 / #7216 - #7220 still at Unionport Yard....

  6. Where the last 2 1996 RTS Nova #9080 , #9172 from Flatbush Depot went to which depot... Anyway #9080 , #9172 supposed go to LGA depot... #9172 were orignally from LGA Depot. the artriculated were at Flatbush Depot supposed to be replacing 1996 RTS Nova Bus at Flatbush Depot.

Not surprised with the remaining 1999-2001 D60HFs - the remaining Xcelsiors should bump them off.

Yeah right.. You can still find 1999 - 2000 D60HF new flyer still at 100 street Depot..

5957 came down as well. Maybe to replace 5826-5827 going back to Quill.

Is it #5957 came from West Farms Depot ... So why send #5957 from West Farms Depot to 100 street Depot... Then West Farms Depot short of articulated bus.. What exchange 100 street depot give their bus to West Farms Depot... Who heard Bx41 select bus service that why..

A lot of the buses that were assigned were xferred and then moved back to ECH/FR or never made the trip. The only buses that have been there are 5341, 5463, 5475, 5493, 5494, 5500, 5502 and 5504. I may be missing a few buses. That's all to my knowledge. Prolly missing 5460 or 5490.

I apologize. I thought #5460 were scrapped from Gun Hill Depot... So it supposed to be #5490. guess

  7. A Little more than a month from now we should start to see these in service. May was the planned month for when the R188's start service on the (7) , am I correct?

off topic... Something telling me there might be delay-ment R188 may not run on the (7)  on next month..... .. First R188 #7211 - #7220 not been tested running on the  (7) .. If R188 #7211 - #7220 passes to run on the  (7) .. Then R188 #7211 - #7220 will be first set to run on  (7) .

  8. this was on my mind for a while, does anyone thinks that the test track at Broad channel contains the CBTC equipment for the R188 testing making the process more faster and already on the 7 train, because the Dyre Ave Line test track is having CBTC equipment being install few weeks ago and we all know what Sandy did to the Broad Channel tracks. give me your opinions,

Good point off topic.. You may not know.when R179 delivered . R179 is a BMT / IND new cars. Not I.R.T cars.. R179 maybe tested Broad Channel track .guess.

  9. this was on my mind for a while, does anyone thinks that the test track at Broad channel contains the CBTC equipment for the R188 testing making the process more faster and already on the 7 train, because the Dyre Ave Line test track is having CBTC equipment being install few weeks ago and we all know what Sandy did to the Broad Channel tracks. give me your opinions,

off topic.. No... Because all I.R.T cars including new cars R142A/ so called R188 must be tested on I.R.T main divison where they get delivered on main i.r.t ( interborough rapid transit )that delivering to Unionport Yard. divison. Not BMT/IND divison tested their by mistake.. Where they should been tested in Dyre Avenue Branch where there been first tested. They were first called R142A.. Not R160 tested in Broad Cahnnel.

  10. Off topic... Which bus will  ( true topic ) Gun Hill depot get to be used for Bx12 select bus service.. 2011 Nova Bus #1200 - #1232 are already halfway dead.... How about sendiing 2011 Nova Bus LFS #1200 - #1232 to Micheal J. Quill Depot. As Gun Hill Depot get 2013 Nova Bus LFS articulated bus #5840 - #5872 from Micheal J. Quill Depot for M34 select bus service. Guess. #1200 - #1232 are wrapped for Select bus service. Let Gun Hill Depot get Micheal J. quill Depot #5840 - #5872 to be wrapped for Select Bus Service for Bx12.

  11. Really off topic, but does anyone know what happened to these Orion 5s:

    6232, 6250, 6252, 6290, 6308, 6337, 6339

    6236

I heard 6290 was involved in a fire, and 6232 had some structural-related problem, but I do not know what happened to the others.

off topic...... As i remember #6232 , #6250 , #6290 were former ex Mother Clara Hale Depot.. When they re- open... i hope they can take  Orion5 well.. Guess.

  12. as far as we are know they are staying where they are at. MJQ has 91  to divide between the M14 M23 AND M79   and about 20 will be wrapped for M34 SBS  and kb has 136 artics  so i think all is well.

also anyone know what will happen with the 2 xd40's at mjq?

Not M72 route. Only M79 .. i thought M79 route only.. Are split up with 100 street Depot... When 100 street Depot put their artic only M79 route when.. only rush hours..  off topic... When 126 street depot shut down. i will like to see which depot will control M15.. saying.

  13. No new cars are able to go directly to Corona because they have to be tested before sending to the 7 line.

Agree. So good comment you brought where will I able to find R142A #7866 - #7867 - #7868 - #7869 - #7870 tested in Dyre Avenue Branch or spot them in Unionport Yard..

  14. The 5280-5305 should be used for the M34/M34A SBS...the other 58xx leaving FB will be for reg service.

Is it time for unwrapping the 2011 Orion7NG #3800 - #3827 at Micheal J. Quill Depot. Put it back for local service. #3800 - #3827 still running at M34/M34A select bus service. Example. linked between. If Mother Clara Hale Depot were to get those bus guess to early predict.

  15. Well Technically a Subway car is supposed to last at least 40yrs in revenue service before retired. If a subway car lasts less then 40yrs usually its because of issues that caused it to retire early. Im not saying the R142As are super unreliable but westchester yard would't wan't to take the chance with their minority fleet breaking down bause then they would have to borrown an R142A from the (4) possible, that is why it would be best running them Rush Hours and at least one set on the weekends.

Nice. rather see R142A run rush hours on 6 line. Well something have to deal with 5 line. Where you can see R62A run on 5 line in rush hours.. Something about Dyre Avenue Shuttle or the yard something..
