  1. Look, you've been told repeatedly by the mods and members of this forum to stop asking these dumb questions. Nearly all of them have no basis in facts and in reality.

And anyway, your grammar is horrible. I don't even know what you wrote there. "You trying to give loser", what?

  3. Not for nothing kid, but could you stop it with the dumb questions. It has already been stated time and again that no one really knows where the 62As will wind up at. In this very thread no less. The only certainties we have are: 1) the 142AMs/188s will run on the 7 in the near future, and 2) the 62As will be displaced. To where has yet to be determined. When we know, you'll know. Spamming this thread (and the forum in general) will not solve anything. All it will lead to is you being banned.

is that threat to me . You trying to give loser
  4. I haven't been on those CNG O7s for some time now (never had a need to ride a JG route lately), but I'll try to keep it in mind the next time I catch one.

I am sorry. Almost West Farms Depot have all of Jackie Gleason Orion7CNG. It like example It all about College Point Depot Orion5CNG similar or generic want to be 100% Orion7CNG that 1 depot don't want to keep then later it want it back . It like flip flop only i can say.
  5. Any news 2012 model Nova Bus LFS articulated bus #5817 will it still stay at Gun Hill Depot . #5817 still have West Farms Depot sticker decal or go to Kingsbridge depot. & where is 2000 D60HF new flyer #5268 , #5355 , #5358 . Will #5355 , #5268 , #5358. be retired, or renumber . I will miss 2000 D60HF new flyer #5268 , #5355 , #5358 if it be retired.

  6. when R188 conversion get delivered while 126 car is new . Where will first be delivered to which yard & where will the R188 be tested . I am 100% R188 will be delivered to 207 street yard then head to UnionPort Yard , R188 will be tested Eastchester Dyre Avenue Branch that 5 line . Then head to Corona Yard. That how the R142/R142A was delivered to .

  7. Now i start to spot again but recently i don't at Westchester Yard. I mostly spot R142A of 4 line as Not in Service go to Westchester Yard. But when R142 of 4 & 5 line as Not in Service went to Westchester Yard. If some say Westchester Yard have bad maintence .

As Far Rock Depot explain in a previous post, the lines where the (1)(2)(3)(4)(5)(6)<6> run on are older than the IRT Flushing Line. I'd rather have CBTC installed on the ENTIRE Jerome Avenue, Dyre Avenue, White Plains Road, Pelham, and Lexington Avenue lines since the (2)(4)(6) and EVEN the part-time (5) are arguably buiser and way more demanding than the (7). Those lines have higher ridership and serve high pollitical hoods and that also includes the (1) even though its fleet is R62A's while the (3), while it does have a good ridership, is mainly a supplement.

I can bet that its feasible that they can keep the R62As on the Flushing line and the existing signals until the R62A's replacements finally arrive. The (7) is already frequent as it is, even if it is isolated like the (L) and has high ridership which scores better than many other lines ONLY because they are shorter and self contained lines. This is why I don't even agree with this Flushing CBTC/R188 plan any way. Since both the (7) and (L)'s cars get regularly maintained due to their shorter and insolated lines which is why they have well on-time preformances and higher MDBFs.....

I agree installed CBTC should be installed White plains Road Line ( that Unionport Yard & 239 street yard home of 2 & 5 line are capable to handle CBTC , Pelham Line capable to handle. That Westchester Yard can handle. )
  9. Exactly!

Weren't you the one who wanted them there? I don't see what's wrong with it. This is such a repeat of the same thread fifteen pages ago.

As car get older it was not me. The new car get purchase for the line that never get new cars . That line will receive old cars. Still i may kind of agree. I apologize . When R142A was purchase for 4 & 6 line. To replace what ever old cars they had . That next classic car will move to another line the yard well equipped with NTT cars yet. Like this topic R62A went to 6 line from 7 line. Now R62A might go back to 6 line. When R62A get retired. The 6 line or what ever yard had R62 will get new car for replacing R62A or R62. the R62A / R62 will turn 30 years old next year 2013? 10 years left to service for R62A/R62. I apologize.
  10. Fine, then I guess the entire reason why the (MTA) is doing this is because the IRT Flushing Line is the oldest out of all the IRT lines in the subway. And (4)(5) or (6) riders have to deal with the R62s or R62As. At first I thought they were doing this because they "want" the (7) to use the R142As/R188s (making the strip maps of the (6)'s R142As a waste of money and serving no purpose) until now since nobody (except you and Art) has explain why the (MTA) is doing this.

The only thing I can say here is the only alternative to replacing the Flushing signal system now is to keep the existing signals hobbling along until the time comes to replace the R62As like you said earlier and I'm sure its feasible...

    You mean R62 from 3 line #1301 - #1625 built by Kawasaki car not the Bombardier car is coming back to Lexington Avenue Line?The R62 was the worst car in Lexington Avenue Line. How many subway car accident was there. Who forgot #1431 - #1432 - #1433 - #1435 - #1436 - #1437 - #1438 - #1439 - #1440 had a subway accident or something or what ever. Now #1431 - #1432 - #1433 - #1434 - #1438 are paired up as 5 car unit.

    Now you are speaking English...

being funny it like being a comedian.
  11. So how many new car R188 146 new cars will replace remaining few set R33 world fair & R36 World car , chance replacing R28 / R29 / R33 #8806 - #9305 at union port yard. Having 146 cars can at least retire R28 / R29 / R33 . R36 at least not being used at Corona Yard not work equipment car , & at least replaced R26 / R28 / R29 / R33 / R36 at least unionport yard. R142A will be converted to R188 that 360 cars. But 146 is new cars. At least they probably can use R62A for work equipment cars.

  12. So that mean 5% they won't be any issue when R142A running into 7 line into Steinway tunnel. Who keep forgetting no cause of problem R142A running into Steinway tunnel. So if R142A does go to 7 line. There are some set 6 line will keep R142A . So will 6 line will receive new cars when R62A do retire. If R62A does go to 6 line.
