  1. I am lil confused why Kawasaki Rail Car wont built R179. At least my opion Kawasaki Rail Car will have chance to built R211. At least we are riding mostly Kawasaki Rail Car of New York City Subway system . Choosing another car company to built R211. It will look very bad I just saying. People like riding Kawasaki Rail Car Subway rail Car R62 , R142A , R143 , R160B I hope they have chance to built R211 it will look bad for them i just saying some know.
  2. is it delivery of R188 supposed to be arrival in 2015? Or the order is cancel again for the east side rider or the Pelham riders.
  3. What is status of remaining 2 1996 orion 5 #639 , #647 . have those 2 have been scrapped the final remaining left of 1996 Orion 5.
  4. Booo. Example what i am talking about. Why wont Eastchester Depot wont recieeve new 2012 MCI D4500 bus . If this is the time to replace Ex New York Bus Receive #7423 - #7428
  5. You know it was only statement. Only I can say : there were 200 cars of R38 that were into service on A , C line. So why take it big deal of 208 cars of R143 should run C line. It just statement.
  6. R143 is not R38 . It like R38 had return to service. I know it does not make any sense. Who is start to think R143 is consider as R38 is only for A , C line . It like R38 have been reborn. C line is only part time line & does not run in Late Night. &
  7. Good bye to Rail Fan Window that R62A on the 7 line. . Welcome the Rail Fan Window of R62A on 6 line .
  8. Who forgot about Concourse Yard home of the B , D line. They have enough space to be stored there & R32 used to be stored at Concourse Yard. So they should have space.
  9. I was just thinking about R33 World Fair car / R36 redbird car that it. But still kind of agree with you. It also can consider fulfill fantasies still i agree.
  10. if 473 cars R188 still pending ( that 350 R142A , 123 new cars) first of all where will they get 350 cars R142A cars. If 6 line were to give 360 cars of R142A. # 7211 - #7570 to 7 line ( 360 cars of R188 / R142A ) where will they get 350 R142A cars . When there is remaining #7571 - #7810 ( 240 cars of R142A in service. ) is 360 R142A really new or not wont be taken from 6 line & will 2 line give up #6301 - #6650 350 R142 ) converted to R188. When there is 1,030 R142 of Bombardier cars in service.
  11. They delivery of R188 #7811 - #7832 ( 22 cars ) will come this year. I will laugh if the R188 order will be cancelled if they built 4 additional cars R188 #7811 - #7960 then it will go to 4 or 3 line. 3 line will be nice. Nothing due to East Side riders , it all complain of something like propulsion system or it will be used as 11 cars set in service. When it should run in 10 cars set in service. Change can happen.
  12. R44 was retired for 1 reason there was smell of asbestos smell of something , R44 had structural problem, I am guessing.
  13. Remember East New York Yard will receive 50 cars of R179 it will be 4 car unit example you know A+B+B+A divison
  14. And that will total 506 cars of R188 new cars for 7 line #7211 - #7570 , #7811 - #7956 ( 506 cars new cars for 7 line ) 6 line still keep #7571-#7670 100 cars. Additional cars . if there are car shortage for 6 line there is problem for 6 line.
  15. The original plan was R142A #7211 - #7570 ( 360 converted to them to CBTC communication based train control) while it was supposed to be 146 new cars supposed to be the R188 roster number was 146 new cars were #7811 - #7956. I already know. if 360 cars is new it will be good news for 6 line they will able to keep 360 R142A. Still have additonal 100 cars will keep. #7221 - #7680 ( 460 cars) Intsend they will have only keeping 100 cars of R142A #7571 - #7670. with keep R62A .sending all R62A to 3 line. So 6 line will have R142A 100 cars & with mostly with R62A. has 3 line have R62A / R62. 146 new cars R188 roster was #7811 - #7956 So except complaining about 6 line at least they will have 100 cars of R142A cars while 360 R142A will be converted to R188. the new car roster number was #7811 - #7956.
  16. let the drama start lol. Why can they rebuild the R142A / R188 but what i am saying Except keeping Bombardier Propulsion. They should change the Propulsion system to Alstom ONYX transaction. Or the 360 R188 is the new cars . 6 line will still keep R142A or they should leave the propulsion way it is. Keep Bombardier Propulsion.
  17. is #5351 still at Gun Hill Depot. I spotted it was not in service.
  18. Example when R142 came & being deliver . When they retire R33 World Fair , R26 , R29 , R33 . So where are those cars when they retire in 2002 - 2006. It have been aritfical reefed . Anyone have the pics. When they retire R40 slant where those cars ? When R160 were replacing those cars. it have been artifcal reef. I maybe wrong.
  19. Will this be final program for reefing the R32 & R42 because almost all of R32 & R42 have been reefed in Atlantic Ocean. When R179 come into service. is it 2 years left to delivery for R179 in 2014? I will make a bet When R46 retirement come . I maybe wrong. They will not reefed R46. Just like R44. Guessing
  20. Any picture of R188 #7814 , #7815 , #7816 have been built at the Yonkers Plant.
  21. Thank goodness that this is the time for R42 will be going . I am use to riding R32 , but R42 no. I will miss the R32 not R42. R42 is 1959 classic. i maybe wrong.
  22. What kind of strip map sticker will 6 line if the R62A back will be look like. Like kind of 3 line R62 strip map or the 1 line R62A strip map.
  23. What is the propulsion will R179 will be using same cars as R142 Bombardier the propulsion is Alstom Onix Transaction as the R142 on 2 line & 5 line. ? i am guessing or is it siemens propulsion as R160B
  24. except the drama Where is R142A/R188 #7211 - #7212- #7213 - #7214-#7215/ #7216-#7217-#7218-#7219-#7220. No one not talking. Are those car out of service because third rail or for other reason. Where are those cars it almost 2 years.
