  1. Your telling me that those already collecting a pension and living a completely different life are REALLY GOING TO CARE, that the MTA are short on qualified employees??? That to me sounds more like a BIGGER FARCE than the conductor questions.
  2. No disrespect to Conductors. BUT THIS IS A TRAIN OPERATOR/MOTORMAN format. Who gives a fu*k how many conductors this n how many conductors there. Come on guys....
  3. For them to pull more names off the list seems like it is taking forever...
  4. Hello ladies and gentleman, I just spoke to a TSS on Coney Island/Stillwell Av today. Apparently, there will be a another school car class on Sept 30 and in the next 2 weeks the MTA Employment Center will be pulling a bunch of names off the 8098 list again. UNOFFICIAL he said but this is the way it looks so far. They should be in the 1500's pretty soon then.
  5. Sounds like a Polish name to me. What was your list #?
  6. Can someone please tell me what ATS stands for???
  7. Congraduates!!! Well done... My fault. Congratulations!!!!!!!!!
  8. DCAS system is down once again. They will restore it when their ready. Last known list # appointed is 1061.
  9. The way this list is flying by, my guess would be late 2014 or early 2015. You will definitively be called, don't worry about that. P.S. I spoke to someone from the MTA Employment Center last week and according to her. They will be pulling MORE candidates this month from list # 8098. All you folks hang in there!!! It's coming...
  10. Thank you for the heads up. I also heard that if you don't get a job within a full 8 hours you get paid for the whole day. Meaning you will be basically hanging out with the guys in the crew room playing cards. Union rule once, you sign in with the Train Dispatcher; your on the payroll automatically. One ques: what is the name of the person that does the schedule in the crew office???
  11. What does it mean when your on the board?
  12. Exactly, what I said. READ........... Hang in there bud. Just stay on top of it and you should be fine.
  13. They are known for making mistakes down there over and over again. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. I would keep calling and calling until I get the right answer.
  14. IS THERE SOMETHING WRONG WITH THIS WEBSITE??? PAGE 220?????????????
  15. T.O's are always retiring, promoted, demoted, quit, fired, etc. So classes will go on...
  16. Medical hold for what? If you don't mind sharing it with us...
  17. I am sure if there is an issue or problem you will be contacted immediately. As for the MTA Employment # 1-347-643-8229. Please keep everyone else on here updated on your progress. September.19, 2016.
  18. When I called the MTA Employment Center last week they told me #1224. Does anyone know who was the last person hired??? Just called DCAS and it still has #619 last appointed.
  19. Yeah, I heard that some of those doctors are a**holes and will put candidates on hold for the stupidest things. My question is what can be put on medical hold and what is a instant disqualification?? Also, how long does it take for the EKG to be done?
  20. What kind of questions do they ask about your current employer on the 10-page-booklet mailed to you with the drug test date report and on the dreaded 21-page-booklet as well. And do they want anything from your current employer, letters etc??? How does that work?
  21. With T.O. you "WORK WHERE YOU ARE NEEDED". You are basically assigned Divisions after orientation in school car. And the first 30 with lower list numbers get to pick. THANKS FOR ANSWERING A SIMPLE QUESTION, YOU WERE A GREAT HELP!!!
