Yeah, Both my pops and uncle recommand to get the full license out the way. Saves you from worrying about DMV failing you for one mistake which will put an end with mta if they the one paying for you to get the license. I would get everything out the way. Thats what im doing at the moment while we wait. You will feel a lot better knowing you have the full official CDL license which will make you proceed if you pass the 7 - 10 day training. With the permit you will be pressured to take the dmv road test if you passed the 7-10 day mta training. Yeah based on a few math example i tried this morning, looks like if you have at least 43 right you might be still in the mix. 43 x 1.66 my only guess is if you got none or 5 wrong your in the high 90s - 100s. 4600 will be a long list that is after the BOSS exam has been giving out before they give us our actual score and list numbers. Yeah according to the folks that took 2613, they had to take the BOSS exam first before they were giving a list number. Which means the following people who took exam 4600 and passed will most likely receive a letter stating to take the BOSS exam. If you pass the boss exam then a list number will be giving to those who pass the boss exam. I believe 85% of people who took the exam 4600 passed, which means thats a lot of people. So in order to have a lock listing the boss exam will be the next step to cut down the eligible list. Many people believe its not possible to fail the boss exam but its possible if your answers are non consistance. I believe 4600 will probably last for 3 years or so and might be the last TA exam giving until 4600 either filled in or expires. Sent from my SGH-T989 using Tapatalk 2

Why is people in this thread love insulting others. I dont see anything beside "any combination" which doesnt mean any states. 2. Some of you guys needs to take a chill pill. Instead of calling other people insulting name or what not, just remember most of us are aiming for the same thing. And if you are already employed by MTA , you were in the same place before you got hired when it comes to trying to get the right wuestions answers. This thread is for positive useful resource that others are sharing. Dre has a point. When you are called in you need a nys license. My father whos an operator states that you do need a nys license upon the hiring process, but most of the driver that has an out of state license are drivers whos been in the job for a long time. Ahhh I see. Yeah my gut is telling me late summer time some of us will take the BOSS exam and by 2015 they will start 4600 hiring process. Its all up to how fast 2613 list finish their process. But out of 100% maybe 50% will be hired if everything goes well. I took the BOSS exam for 3101, with my random list number being in the 8k I have more hope with 4600 being process quicker than mabstoa within the upcoming years.
