    @Young Not everyone will be taking the BOSS exam on the 4th of October, According to mta.info website exam updates section. They will have separate date for those that Pass and is not assign to take it on October 4th.

    Just a thought not a fact --> Or its possible they might go by people's exam score order. like for example the group that scored 100 - 90 or w/e takes the BOSS exam first and continue a next batch of scores group. OR by Last name or last 4 digits of social. We will find out soon when some of us post that they received a letter to take the BOSS exam.

    We're now entering the second week of September as of Monday 9/8/14. For DMV related, I recently took my CDL Class B road test on my own. Passing the road test is all based on your skills and the Examiner mood. Practice leads a good result. "Based on my preference" its probably less stressful to get the license on your own. Less thing to worry about during the 7-10 day training.

    Im taking my cdl road test next week @domvolpe427. You dont check under the hood. Since your going to get your license on your own if you are taking driving school lessons, they will teach you the steps each driving course you take.

    The waiting game will take place @FatboyNYC. You will receive a first letter stating that they receive a payment for the application 4105. After you will have to wait until they send another letter to come take the BOSS exam. This can take months or a year. They are now working through the List for MaBSTOA Exam 3101 which was giving on November 2013.

    @BrooklynMTA Study Chapter 1 , 2, 3, 4 and 5 Which covers General Knownledge, Air Brake, and Passenger Endorsement in the Commercial Driver Manual Book. The written test are best on those chapters.

    Not sure. I made the lady at the dmv @34st dont put no limit.She ask me if I was going to drive local only, and I told her no I want no limits. I guess she was being nice to me by asking. The only restriction I have is corrective lens.

    TA has a better pension plan since its a civil service agency. Both OA and TA has same Union "Depending which Depot you work for" as stated above. Because TA is a civil service division, thats why they give competitive written exam where OA or BC only gives an BOSS exam. Your list number for TA is based on your Test score, Both OA and BC gives random list number.
