  1. It's funny no matter how many times I tell you what's going on, everybody's still going to keep speculating......last year everyone kept making up excuses for why they wanted to see the (1) run to New Lots when the ferry flooded, and I was the only one telling them that this was NOT going to happen, and now it's the same thing with this swap thread. Normally those stupid lock icons annoy me, but I'm getting ready to request one for this thread. No swap, end of discussion.

  2. Yes, it would be a problem, because then the T/D's would have to make sure that no sets are sent to Metropolitan when it's time to start cutting trains. Why even make it an issue?

Boy, some of you will think ANYTHING just to find a reason to see the R-32 on the (M) . IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN, COME BACK TO REALITY!!!!!

  3. Yes. They had me and my T/O deadhead to Stillwell on the next interval, and then when we got there the dispatcher's office was FULL of crews, which meant everyone was still out of place, so they had my T/O take a lite train back to Concourse Yard (we were sent via 8th Ave north of Blaf), and I was the ONLY passenger on board.

Yes, N/B (D)'s can be sent via 8th Ave, but S/B (D)'s can not. For some reason, there is no switch south of W4 which allows trains to go from B2 to B4, so 59 St is actually an ultimate point of no return for West End bound (D)'s! When you see a GO with D's running in two sections, this is why.

  4. The ENY R160's are getting CBTC upgrades, so they are going to be short a couple of sets. A couple of 32's are getting sent to ENY to cover those shortages. They'll probably be running at all hours.

And before any of you start up on speculation, NO these R32's are NOT going to be running on the (L) or (M) .

  5. There's no service at Nereid Avenue.

So the southern terminal is Marcy Street? I'd imagine it is, since they probably won't vary it like the (2) and (5) scenario you mentioned. I'd also imagine shuttle buses are running between Broad and Essex.

No......the terminal would have been Essex. And where would these shuttle buses come from??? We don't have a million shuttle buses sitting around ready to go into service instantly for a sick customer delay.
