I feel like the "rift" between Cuomo and DeBlasio stems partially from this and from Cuomo likely realizing and telling him he isn't a leader - he's a manager, and DeBlasio having a "response".

Look at how Cuomo outmaneuvered DeBlasio with little actual effort non-stop since 2014.

Add to it the PBA posts nudes of his daughter and DeBlasio did nothing? Eunuchs and castratos are more manly than Billy; Anthony Weiner would've been a better mayor.

Carlos Danger for Mayor. All the pretty girls join my onlyfans for my special sausage show ;)

  2. Regarding 2247 & 2248, those were Spring Creek buses, they moved to Yonkers, 2249 & 2250 went to Eastchester a couple years ago. At some point the latter two went back to SC.  They just move buses about for whatever reasons....

  3. I find it highly disturbing how people can just board a city bus, walk past the operator, without word or care in the world.... Have these people no conscience?? Look, I know the answer, I guess I'm just venting (in vain, perhaps).

So I was on 0022 yesterday on the M100 going west & up, we get to everyone's favourite stop :D (125th & Lex), a few people paid fare, about 5 didn't, what's he (B/O) do? Opens rear door, about 10 more pile in........ Homie just gave up and let 'em in.

    That....

Some of the new drivers are simply not cut out to handle the job or don't use common sense, and so they keep getting written up and are eventually fired.  There are definitely some that have to deal with things like unruly passengers, etc., but plenty that have been driving for years and do fine.  There are a number of reasons that drivers are on and off. Some are injured during the every day grind. The streets with all of the potholes, etc. take a toll on your back. You also have to pass yearly physicals, etc. There is a lot behind the scenes as to why some leave, and it's not all due to the public either.

I know some drivers that have left (MTA) Bus and moved over to NYCT.  Some prefer to work closer to where they live, etc. The reasons are substantial.

....and much of this, shows me the general apathy bus operators in this city have. Or maybe it's more to do with the (MTA) as a whole. I dunno.... I do not know.  But, I suspect many guys (& gals) GTFOH for greener pastures. I could be wroing.

When I saw this video I understood that it would be great to have a Chevrolet Tahoe in a garage of my property in Costa Blanca here and drive around Spain in it with comfort, would be great.

Gawd, those new GM's are hideous. And personally, I can only tolerate Doug D in small doses.

That ugly pair of double decker cars randomly in that set is throwing me off.

My guess? That's an attempt to increase per-train capacity without adding cars. (Having those cars in a consist like that isn't exactly new.)

Shifting gears, I really like the fact that the locomotive runs on electricity. Why must it be so damn difficult to get that here? (They don't necessarily need to use overhead wires.)

** Those are the bi=level green cars (first class), which offer nicer seating for a premium fare (green car ticket).

** I like this also. As for why not here, I suspect ''big oil'' have a lot to do with that.....

I don't know, that post reads like it was written by a foamer pretending to be a motorman.... 👎

    Kind of agree with this.

Aren't the 179's the ones with the funny controls? Could be just re-learning the controls, (build that muscle-memory)

M1: IDK what that area around Foley Sq. is considered, but Centre/Worth is not TriBeCa.... That would be pretty egregious if they did that.

M42: Why would the EB M42 signage say 2nd av, instead of 1 av?

M116: Would never see the light of day..... MTA would duck that like the plague.

As well they should, completely unnecessary.
