The incident was a minor injury to the hand of the bus driver and the teenager was also shot. Three shots were fired. One hit the window shield and another hit a part the protects drivers from being injured. The shooting came from the outside and the said aforementioned teenager was targeted. The case is gang related.

Yeah It's gonna be real great once Adams is Mayor.....

And so begins the weekends of (7) train shutdown west of Queensboro Plaza and the subway service alternatives are spotty at best. Subway crowding at QBP was horrendous because the (N) service wasn’t even running every 12 minutes (likely due to crew shortages)

the “weekend (W) service” is literally only 3 train sets running at random times, so limited that the MTA website left it as “no scheduled service”.

I noticed this too. I was on the (R) today, we get to Cortlandt, saw an uptown train on the opposite, I knew that sign said (W)yet MTA app said nothing.

There hasn’t been an R68A on the (G) ever since the R160’s started service on the line…

There was a '68A on the (G) today, so nope.

I suggest the MTA rename the fare control area

The 'Donation box". If you want to donate swipe or tap your card, if not hop over.

The amount of farebeating on the subway and people casually walking past the bus driver these days is making me wonder why the hell I'm paying for the subway/buses when it seems like it is free

This is what happens when you go soft on crime.  We live in clown world now. Honk honk.

I know this question isn't part of this forum but i wanted to know what you guys think of the electric buses? I've never rode on one and have no knowledge of these types of buses.

I've been on a few XE60's, and I like 'em.

As they stand right now, they are getting better. Battery technology has gotten to a point where some of these electric buses can last an entire day on a single charge. Electric buses are good especially since they are torque monsters and can take hills with ease, but the development and advancement of the technology still needs more time.

All this talk of banning ICE's by 2030 or 2035 or whenever (in Europe, at least) we ain't there yet, Nowhere near.....

Her leadership does not inspire confidence; she's a complete puppet, without any independent thought of her own.  Cuomo's father also had ego issues as governor, but at least Ravitch and Kiley were competent appointees, not hapless cronies.

    Progressive move, and little else.

a few things (barring any further changes)

so, hunnit street gets new units for the m31 (which moves those 39xx's lord knows where)... while MV gets it's entire fleet replaced in one shot (give or take... I'm not sure that's an accurate assumption/assessment) so before the 'how come Manhattanville never gets new buses?' bs starts again... THIS is why. OF's allotment increased by 8. so, no xde40's for CS... they'll get strictly diesel novas instead. no LFS diesels for East NY, redistributed between JA & CS. .. I'm slightly disappointed. would've been nice to see those on the B14/17 or B45/65. am i missing something as to the reason why SC will receive 10 less units?

I'll reserve further judgment, as nothing is set in stone with these deliveries.

No Novas for ENY, I'm just a bit disappointed as well.....

To the bus drivers... For the love of God, please pull your damn bus to the curb! Unreal what is going on. Stop after stop, drivers picking up passengers in the street, often times from the bus lane, leaving the entire right side WIDE OPEN, allowing e-bikes to come from behind the bus as the driver is picking up passengers. A number of passengers have been complaining about almost being hit as a result. Passengers CANNOT see the bikes coming from the behind the bus, especially if they are going at high speed, and vice versa. I'm speaking with the (MTA) about this because they need to make some changes.

Twice this week, I was almost hit with another passenger. Just reckless to drive in service like that, making every stop from the street when the curb is completely open.

This. A thousand times this. I've nearly been nailed by them too, as well as the bus stop blocking cars that take off when we're getting off.
