  1. It's definitely a good feeling. Just for everyone following, make sure you enter with an open mind and able to take criticism from the instructor's and remember going to day 8 and 9 isn't the end of the world. The instructors said people that qualify on day 8 and 9 have a safer record than those that qualified on day 7 (sorry for those on 7, not trying to make anyone feel bad). 2. I can confirm the last appointed. That's me [emoji1] . I know there are one or 2 people with list numbers above me, but they are going to Day 10. Sent from my SM-N910T3 using Tapatalk

  5. Day 1-7 I had Williams out of Fresh Pond. Awesome instructor. Day 8-9 I had Beard out of Gun Hill. Down to earth and teaches you as if he was still a b/o. Sent from my SM-N910T3 using Tapatalk
  6. Not sure yet. Will know on monday. I know 10 qualified day 7. And I saw at least another 10-12 that qualified today. But I didn't see a lot of the others, so I am not sure. Sent from my SM-N910T3 using Tapatalk
  7. Thanks to everyone for all the help. I did qualify today (Day 9). Now on to the DMV Road Test. Sent from my SM-N910T3 using Tapatalk
  8. Thanks. Yeah I'm not taking any chances. Sent from my SM-N910T3 using Tapatalk
  9. The funny thing was today none of us got TB. We messed up yesterday, with stupid mistakes.... like me, I was changing with someone at a uphill and doing stop pop and go I left the bus in neutral causing it to roll back. ( I know stupid of me but I wasn't feeling well. ), one hit the curb, another was too close to a car, and one tried to squeeze thru 2 trucks. Sent from my SM-N910T3 using Tapatalk
  10. So I'm heading to day 9, at Gun Hill Depot with Supt. Beard 9/19 Class Stats This class consisted of 43. 2 were sent home from zerega on day 1. 2 quit during training. That left 39. Only 10 qualified on day 7. So 29 people are heading to day 9. Sent from my SM-N910T3 using Tapatalk
  11. Congrats to being reinstated. Sent from my SM-N910T3 using Tapatalk

  13. Saw alot of day 10 people at Zerega. Hope everything went well. Got assigned Fresh Pond Depot with Supt. Williams. Anyone can share some advice on Supt? Sent from my SM-N910T3 using Tapatalk
  14. I've taken TA bus operator #4600 which they have already called me for and report for training tomorrow. Aside from that one the Conductor #6601 and Sanitation. I'm sorry if some people got confused thinking it was a letter to report for conductor, but IT WAS NOT. Sent from my SM-N910T3 using Tapatalk
  15. I got the same letter would assume about the Boss exam. I never took that test, and I'm already training. I'm starting Monday from exam 4600 Sent from my SM-N910T3 using Tapatalk
  16. Congrats to you seven. Thanks for the advice. Sent from my SM-N910T3 using Tapatalk
  17. Sorry to hear your heading to day 10. Just remember you just have to make it thru 1 one more day and nail it perfectly. After that it should be a breeze. We have all waited and have put so much time into this process that we should be able to make it thru. In a few years we could all be working out of the same depot. 18. Is there anyone else going in this Monday , that's on here? Sent from my SM-N910T3 using Tapatalk
  19. Congrats. I start monday. Sent from my SM-N910T3 using Tapatalk
  20. Just keep calm and do your best. I was hoping NYCGamer18 would have had another person day and qualified today. And Seven same Goodluck to you. I took a day off from work and spend most of the morjing riding around queens on MTA buses, observing the turns and maneuvers. I can't wait until Monday already. BrklynKid good luck also. 21. How did it go today? Hopefully all well. Sent from my SM-N910T3 using Tapatalk
  22. Good luck to you both and all the other 9/6 classmates. Sent from my SM-N910T3 using Tapatalk
  23. Zerega training is your 10 day training. If you have your cdl B, you can qualify/pass training on day 7 and then the other days you will train on other buses. If you don't qualify on day 7, you can qualify again on day 9. Credit to BusDriverWannaBe for the following breakdown. (Sorry could figure out how to share your post) I started my training on 8/22. Its a 10-Day training class. It goes something like this: Mon-: Orientation at Zerega (no actual training) Tue-Day 1 of training (location varies) Wed-Day 2 of training (location varies & simulator) Thu-Day 3 of training (location varies & simulator) Fri-Day 4 of training (EL Pillars in Brooklyn or elsewhere plus more) Mon-Day 5 of training (Upper East Side Manhattan) Tue-Day 6 of training (Union Square Manhattan) <-- Must be perfect/Satisfactory to qualify on Day 7 Wed-Day 7 of training (location varies) <-- Qualifying Day Chance #1 IF YOU QUALIFIED ON DAY 7 then you will be sent to Jamaica Depot to learn other model buses (RTS, Nova, Flier) if not you go on to DAY 8 and 9 with a new instructor... Thu-Day 8 of training (location varies) NEW INSTRUCTOR Fri-Day 9 of training (Upper East Side Manhattan) <-- Qualifying Day Chance #2 IF YOU DIDN'T QUALIFY ON DAY 9 you will have one final chance but you will have to do it in front of instructors... Mon-Day 10 of training (Zerega Bronx Area) <-- Qualifying Day FINAL CHANCE with 2-instructors DAY 10 is also Orientation Day of the next class. Pattern of Last few classes 8/8 8/22 9/6 - Starts on Tuesday because of Labor Day, which means Saturday will be a training day 9/19 10/3 - Presumably 10/17 - Presumably DMV Road Test are usually day or two after you qualify. MTA has special road test scheduling at Zerega DMV testing site. Hope that helps! Sent from my SM-N910T3 using Tapatalk
  24. Lol, I currently work for a hospital as well. I read all the posting and I wanted to get the license before hand. But honestly looking at other posting from different exams it sound like instructors prefer people without it, cause you don't come with bad habits. But if you can get it now, do so. It will definitely make training easier. I'm taking a chance now and going in with permit only. Sent from my SM-N910T3 using Tapatalk
  25. Think of it this way. They started calling the first class back in march 2016. It's now sept 2016 and it's already at 82x. While at livingston I spoke to alot of drivers on the job, and alot of them are retiring mostly due to health isues. As someone had previously posted (my apologies can't remember who it was) alot of people on the list get disqualified from livingston for background check, medical, no permit or issues with drivers license) so anticipate maybe 1 year or less. Just make sure you keep your license clean. Advice: when they do start the process they won't give you alot of notice. You get the letter the same week you have to report to livingston. So make sure you always have a sick day or personal day at your current job. I won't have time to give my current employer 2 weeks notice. I am using vaction and sick time to go tru training and make sure I make it pass. Then I'll have to resign immediately. But better that, then not have a job afterwards. GOOD LUCK to all.
