  1. Unbelievable how Canada won the Gold Medal in Men's Baseball at the 2015 Pan-Am Games.
  2. will the MTA be operating the Low-V on April 6th for the Yankees home opener this year? I just want to know if I might be able to catch it.
  3. Just got a notice that a drive-by shooting will be filmed on my street in a week for some crime drama. Wierd.
  4. Going out in -44 C temperatures (that's -50 F). Great!

  5. According to bustime, 5693 is on the M15 SBS and a few RTS' on the B44 SBS.
  6. Just caught my first TTC bus doing overtime: 7343 on route 52, run 1

  7. Just going to leave this out here: be sure to add the B37 to the list of JG routes.
  8. I don't mean to sound rude but what is the issue with the QM15 above? I don't see anything wrong immediately.
  9. Here is my second post, showing what I would do if this delay occurred on a weekend: : Trains operate from Jamaica Center to Lexington Avenue-63rd Street. All trains trapped on the 8th avenue line will be put into service on the train to increase service. Train operates in two sections: from 179th street to Canal Street via the 63rd Street Connector and Broadway express to Canal Street (local platforms), relaying on the tracks leading to the lower level of City Hall Station. The other section will operate from Coney Island Stillwell Avenue to 42nd Street-Bryant Park, and operating via the (not running) line to 145th street. : Trains extended from 57th Street-7th Avenue to 179th Street via the line.
  10. I will make two posts; one if this occurs on a weekday and another if it occurs on a weekend. This is mine for a weekday: : Train shortened to only operate from Jamaica Center to Lexington Avenue-53rd Street. All trains trapped on the 8th Avenue Line will be put on the Train to increase service. : Split into Two sections: From 179th Street to Whitehall Street (BMT Broadway Line) Via 63rd Street Connector and Broadway Express (If Whitehall Street backs up, some trains will terminate at Canal Street Station, relaying on the tracks leading to the never-opened lower platform at City Hall station. The other section will operate from Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue to 42nd Street-Bryant Park, terminating on the two local platforms. Staff will be present to help direct passengers to the correct platform. Some trains may also operate via the line to even out service on the two sections. : Trains extended to Forrest Hills-71st Avenue from Court Street. :Trains Terminate at 42nd Street-Bryant park on the two local platforms, passing through the crossovers between 34th Street-Herald Square and 42nd Street-Bryant Park. Staff will be present to help direct passengers to the correct platform. some trains may operate via the 63rd Street connector on the line if trains become too crowded. In my next post: I will show what I would do if this occurs on a weekend.
  11. Forget what I said before: Nova LFS Artic 9023 went on routes 75 and 82 (very rare and probably the first time it has ever happened) and I had a full on foam-fest. Very embarrassing.

  12. Similar issues like this have happened in Toronto. I guess I shouldn't accept Bustime's info as being correct all the time.
  13. I don't understand what you mean by that. Could you please clarify? I guess people want new subways because it is very big and represents New York City in the world.
  14. I doubt that will happen. As soon as those older buses are cleared out, I bet that people will begin to fan the next set of vehicles, like the early Orion VIIs and the R46's. While I bet that a lot of you do not like the Orion VIIs now, I bet that when it is near the end, you will all be talking about "how they were great vehicles". I am personally doing that in Toronto now, where Orion VII retirements are set to begin in about a year. My point is that once these old vehicles leave, I think that most transit fans will simply move on to the next vehicles (i.e. the ones being delivered to replace those older vehicles and the vehicles that are next in line for retirement).
  15. MV appears to still have an RTS. 5208 is on M10.
