I passed my medical but was told the first drug test would have expired by the time I started training so I didn't get final processing on the same day. Instead, they emailed me 2 days later (when my 2nd drug test came back clean) and told me to come back for final processing.

Yeah, I took a drug test on the 20th and yesterday, the 27th... Yeah they told me they had to wait for my drug test results. When you went in for final processing, were you in and out? I can't imagine it taking that long without medical or drug test...

Once you finish your testing... blood pressure, ekg, urine analysis, vision, and hearing, you'll see a doctor who will give you a physical. He/she will then tell you whether or not you pass.

So I thought this was interesting. I went for my pre-employment last Wednesday, took a drug test. Now today I just passed my medical, and they told me by the time I get hired my first drug test (1 week old) would expire. So even though I passed my medical, they didn't do my final processing because I had to take a 2nd drug test, which they said they'd need the results to before they sit with me for final processing.They said I'd get a phone call or email in 1-2 weeks. Anyone else go through this? I was told medical was always final processing day. Weird that I have to come back only for final processing. I'll keep you posted.

280ish... Yes they're definitely in the 600's, my friend got his pre-employment letter yesterday and he's in the 600's. I got the email for my medical literally 2 days after pre-employment.. I'll be going to the medical next Wednesday. My question is how long after the medical do they usually start the 10 day training? I'm pretty nervous but I can't wait to get started.

received my letter as well, I have a question for you Young... I don't have my "paper" HS diploma, no idea where it is.... but I have the plaque they gave me, is that enough or should I get a transcript? Thanks.

2613 is done, 4600 are already going for medical and training. I'm a letter carrier at the USPS and the ATU 726 office is on my route. Mr. Cassella confirmed it to me himself.

Anyone else getting anxious? I thought they'd send letters to another 200 candidates by now.
