  1. That's great news Brakeman. I was there yesterday and I hope to get my call early next week. I'm optimistic!
  2. Hello All: I just left 180 Livingston today and submitted my pre employment paperwork and completed my urine drug test. I was informed that I'll be contacted by phone in 3-90 days. I'm hopeful at that prospect since this is my second time going through this process. Good luck to all and I'll update everyone again when I'm scheduled for my medical and final processing.
  3. Thanks for the info greatly appreciated.
  4. Hello WestEndMan, What is the difference between Division A & Division B with regards to your training? Thank you in advance.
  5. Also if you have an arrest record be sure to have a disposition of it that's sealed. A friend of mine that works for DSNY informed me that could hold up your process too.
  6. My list range is 34xx? How about yours? Will do tprashad0719.
  7. Congrats Brakeman!!! Did you find this out via phone or mail? I can't wait to check my mail to find out what date I'll begin my processing.
  8. Thank you guys. I'm hopeful you guys will get your letters sooner than later. I'll keep everybody posted when I gather more information.
  9. I just spoke with Ms. Rivera myself. She didn't divulge nor did I ask how many approvals did she received. She asked my list number (34xx) and told me to expect a letter in the mail pretty soon. So I'm just excited for this opportunity.
  10. Being certified means you're on a potential list of future hires. As in 4,618 are certified. However, only 3,344 of that 4,618 have actually been hired to date. Hope that explains your question.
  11. Thanks for the feedback SubwayGuy. It's comprehensive and makes sense considering the information provided from a potential hiring scenario.
  12. Yes September 19, 2016. Even though they're not hiring now doesn't mean it won't resume. Just be patient and try to wait to next for the class. I'm going to check again in April. Also make sure you're in good shape so when you're called for your medical, you don't delay the process by having a medical hold.
  13. No. Ms. Rivera asked that I check back towards the end of March/early April. Most people called up for the February 9th class were actually people with list numbers below 3,3316. Most who reenlisted their names back on the list for various reason. I hope to see the list ascend from 3,3316 next time since i'm list number 3,4xx. I wish you the best of luck Breaker and definitely keeps us posted as you embark on your journey!
  14. As per Ms. Cox the (Office of Management and Budget) hasn't given the approval as of yet to continue hiring. I just finished speaking with her, so I doubt there's a January 26th class. February/March is my logical guess but please share any updates whenever more information is available.
  15. Thanks for the prompt response and good luck with your upcoming DT and medical moving fwd. Keep us posted.
  16. Congratulations Breaker! What's your list #? Please share so the other's know where they're in the process of possibly receiving theirs. Good luck.
  17. Thank you for the update HopefulTO. It's greatly appreciated, I hope February brings better new horizons for everybody eagerly waiting to join.
  18. Thanks Matt. And I hope you get your letter soon to begin the process.
  19. I just called DCAS automated line and my list number (340x) is on an outstanding certification for the since Sunday November 23, 2014. As of Sunday January 11, 2915, I'm currently on an outstanding certification for the first time in 7 weeks. Hopefully, the agency contacts me before my first drug test (urine sample) I provided expires within the 90 day period that'll conclude some time next week. In the event it does expire I was inform I would receive a letter in the mail again, like previously to take a drug test and then proceed with next steps when called again.
  20. Hi tprashad, Well the good news is that your in the range of the last eligible cerified number as per DCAS which is 4618. That doesn't guarantee a call but it definitely increases chances. Most times an agency reaches all if not most of their eligible certified people while hiring for an exam. Again, I don't work for DCAS or MTA but I would be hopeful.
  21. Hi Breaker, OMB is Office of Management & Budget.
