dam everything you learn in 2 months now you have to apply it during posting? who teaches you posting..co workers? in 2 months of training you learn how to move and stop a train? or do you learn this during posting? ..i feel 2 months and they throw you into posting seems quick

congratz Erik, in how many months total you been in training?
practicals are signals, and....? im trying to get a head start before my start date..so far ive been studying the radio codes and lingos..read the rule book here and there

thats right Mikeem, when called back for medical that is a whole day process..
during the interview they go over your 21 page and honestly i was asking the questions...if they see something wrong with the 21 page they will go over that with you and have you sign a lot of paper work as well..the interview was not bad..its basically your hired and there explaining your salary and instructions of orientation etc

im here thinking the report time is either 7-330pm or 9-5 pm..but your getting your full 8 hours or do they send you home early and still get 8 hours?

good luck matt, im sure you will do good man..how many signals you have to learn ..the written part of the signal is something new i heard which came into effect not to long ago..that might be the only part i might be worried about..

are you still traveling from long island to your yards? would driving to your locations be easier if you could?

@runningonrails, thats good to know your a conductor, my brother is a conductor as well..i hardly see him to ask him questions..i hope to do good in my training..lately ive been hearing a lot of negative feedbacks from people failing schoolcar..but im trying not to think about it

you will soon be smoking that cigar when you receive that letter, ift was the best feeling to know i took this test in 2009 and now received a letter..my heads been pounding me lately because im quite nervous when i start and plus i put my notice with my current job so its like no turning back now for me..i have to do this

hey Mikeems, when i was on my interview, my investigator told me they will be hiring off the current list like crazy..40-60 people per month
keep in mind a lot of people didnt pass the DT or just declined the position
