To make it also easier, since lines are split into districts... : District 5 : District 4 : District 3 Lines have changed districts this past November to what they are now

Also, just because you live in a borough doesn't always mean you'll operate a line in same borough. Case in point, I had the R yesterday. I live in Corona but I started in Bay Ridge. They can start you at one end, and end on another (again -- I started at Bay Ridge - 95 St and ended at Continental)

Bronx: Queens: Brooklyn: Manhattan: Pretty much for those in "B" division, they will keep you close to the line closest to your home, but may send you to any of the other lines at least once a week. If you are on the board at one location, they could send you to work another line, no matter the location (the late clear money is sometimes worth it).

No it will. With the M going to 96 St, the R will be needing help in Queens corridor, hence why the G is being extended

The G will be extended to either Jamaica-179 or Continental to help the R. M will be going from Metropolitan to 96th

@Jchambers2120 if after a while you don't like the A division, you can request to transfer to B division

Just to add on to that, take the operating motor (Front car) number and Conductor's car number. That way, they can see you didn't try to hide anything if the train was delayed.

No backpacks with wheels though. A duffel works too

You should have an email with instructions for the boots you have to order. You have a voucher for them so don't worry about paying out of pocket for them. For the backpack, go on Amazon and order Ibagbar or Kaka backpack. You can put the straps away when walking on the tracks. They won't harp on you about a backpack since you have to carry stuff until you get the backpack from Amazon.

East New York yard is the yard next to Broadway Junction on the A/C/J/L

Classes are in different locations everyday Monday to Friday. Could meet at Coney Island yard one day, then ENY yard the next.
