I heard from a source that 10 buses have arrived at Piscataway
Six of which have passed state inspection within the past two days - they are VINs 14680 and 14682-14686. They should be on their way up to Lakeland if not already there. This puts us at least to 17207.

I heard Lakeland was supposed to get up to 17205.
Those may be the last four 2017 buses. Lakeland is supposed to get 56 buses in this order, so they will probably also get the first 35 of the 2018 buses which would be 18001-18035, then the production on the Daimler-engine buses begins.

Lakeland 17186-17201 are VINs HP014658-014670 and 014672-014674, When MCI comes back from its break they will begin manufacturing 2018 model buses - today is August 15 and that's the changeover day for the model year.

As of 7/25 we have buses delivered 17185-17200. All to Lakeland. VINs from HP014658-014673.

Deliveries of D4500CT's have resumed with the first private carrier buses of the second wave going to Lakeland. User 46Dover reports 17186, 17187 and 17189 on the property.

Does anyone have any idea as to where the last batch of Academy buses went? I want to say Perth Amboy but I'm not 100% sure on that.
16003 is running the 313 route today. Long bus ride!

I can concur with those four buses being D4500's. Fourth digit of VIN is the indicator. P = D4500, S = D4000.

Official press release from New Flyer stating that the first year delivery of the order has been completed and production will commence on the next batch of buses, which will begin delivery in the third quarter. 187 buses delivered so far - 16001-16003 and 17001-17184.

That is correct. TransDev has 6127-6146, 20 NABI buses, running out of their garage on Old Corlies Ave. in Neptune.

what are the hybrid numbers? 4004 is running on the 114 express now
The NJT hybrid demos were 4000-4003 (Orion's that wound up in NYC), then 4001-4003 (Nova 82VN's), and four D4000's (4004-4008). The production hybrids were 4008-4044.

So it looks like there are only 8 Nova RTS's left running. As of 3/2/17 there are 5 40ft and 2 30ft buses for Coach usa Elizabeth. And 1 40ft left running in south jersey (Salem). If the roster is correct.
One of the 30 foot buses is at Broadway IBOA, the other is at Montgomery and Westside IBOA. To my knowledge, neither is a Coach USA company. Both were inspected and passed in February so I would assume they are still in service.

As of late last week all 64 of the Academy buses from 17121-17184 were state inspected.

The Delaware River Bay Authority is now operating the shuttles on both sides of the Cape May-Lewes ferry. Lion Corp. once had four 1994 Flxibles on the Jersey side, which were 1767, 1770, 1777 and 1780. I really doubt any of those buses are still running. DRBA is listed in SAFER, but has no vehicle inspections (they have 68 buses) in the last two years.

So, when will the first batch end?
I have confirmed hits on AutoCheck (vehicles with history) through serial HP014509 - which would be 17184 - which would be exactly 184 buses in this year and the previously stated total of 64 for Academy (17121-17184). As I've said before, I have not seen inspections yet on buses 17172-17184, the last of the Academys (probably going either to Hoboken or Perth Amboy, as there are ample quantities of the buses in Toms River, Westampton and Leonardo already).

As of today all buses up to and including 17168, which would be VIN HP014493, have passed inspection and are should enter service soon....There should still be some hanging out in Piscataway...

As of yesterday, through bus 17221 was sitting over at ADD in Piscataway, all lettered for Lakeland. 17221 carried a unit number of 14694, so that accounts for the missing VINs. 17199 through 17221 are HP014672 through HP014694 inclusive.
